Likewise. The Bayern issue aside, the lad’s currently on £60k a week. He was made a £150k a week offer by all accounts almost a year ago. There comes a point when by continuing to not sign he is actually going to be worse off financially even if he were to suddenly then accept an improved offer.
I don’t necessarily think he’s impatient to leave, but I do think he’s (or someone in his party is) actively encouraging Bayern behind the scenes, and they’re hoping he’ll eventually hand in a request so they can lowball us like the twats they are
No one really knows including you what the club has offered him.

I don’t know what Bayern have offered City. If they offered 75 million for Sane I’d take it. He is worth a little more but not too much more as it stands. Potentially a lot more but Leroy needs to work harder in terms of his game and mentality. How many times has Leroy been substituted and Pep says nothing to him when he leaves the field. Pep knows there is more but can’t get him to do it. If the greatest manager in the world is unable to do this who can. I saw Pep shouting at him on the touch line last season because he wants a better work rate. I trust City to do the right thing for the club.
75m,lol

Game of cat and mouse with City EB and a possible " advisor " undermining the discussions , sounds a plausible explanation .

Or , alternatively Leroy feels that Pep doesn't appreciate him enough ? Despite what is said in public. perhaps Sane feels that the number of games that he played doesn't show enough appreciation of him ?

Would be good to get this matter resolved but playing the " long game " may be tactic being used Leroy/agent and seeing how this season transpires before committing one way or the other .

I can understand your impatience with this. i can also appreciate your views (over a few posts) which i don't agree with, but get, about sane's potential, so called attitude, and reluctance to sign a contract.

but... 75m? for sane? with his pace, delivery, composure and age? in today's market?

Naw mate.. just... no.

When Ousmane Who? Dembele is 120m+, hazard with a year left is 100m+, coutinho 145m, felix 120m , heck i'll stop listing, respectfuly. Anything less than 100m is the club doing the player a favour to let him go where he wants, if he really wants to, but can easily demand more though.

You mention that stirling was easier because no other club was openly after him. Real were reportedly interested, but even if they were not, as much as Bayern's pursuit helps sane's negotiating position, it equally helps the club, as there is a solid option to cash in on. IF he wanted to move there. which, he hasnt said he does, nor given bayern enough encouragement to properly bid, rather than just stirring.

If any Manchester City 'supporter' agrees with your point that he is only worth a little more than £75 million in today's market - a market which saw Eden Hazard go to Madrid for €130 million before the final year of his contract, then I'd say their opinion is worth shit.

Not only that, why would you take £75 million if you believe he is worth more than that, especially considering that even Munich would stump up more than £75 million?

The irony is that I'm not trying to be clever; it's people performing mental gymnastics to explain why it would be fine for him to leave, way under his 'probable' value, at such a young age - with two years left on his contract - that are trying to be smart (or contrary).

Leroy's early season form could be crucial to us with Aguero and Jesus unlikely to be ready for the start of the season, Bernardo back late too and needing to be eased back in and carefully managed for game time in the early weeks (the guy has only had 3 weeks off in a year). If Leroy takes his chance he could be a major factor if he wants to prove himself as a go to guy.

The above players you are talking about were all regular starters for their clubs and put in superb performances and probably the first name on the team sheet. Could you say that about Leroy? Had he done so he would be starting more. Have there been any offers for him from any club? None of us know what goes on behind the scenes.

early on, we reportedly turned down 71m. if 4 more was all it would take, bayern would have been back before you and I even read that article. They know theyl have to break the bank, and without him publicly pushing for a move all they can do is prod. They also apparently offered 95m for dembele, who featured less (and produced a lot less) for barca than leroy did for us. So, 75m just won't cut it.

There is also no player out there with sane's pace and quality that you coukd replace him with for anywhere close to 75m, so with two years on his contract, it would make no sense selling him for as little as that.

Sane age also should cone into it they could pay us €120m and have him for the next 10 years but I reckon if they offered 90m+ addons to 100m city would sell him for that.

Whilst he isn’t starting and playing regularly his value decreases that is a fact. It will be interesting to see if this changes at the start of the season

Mibby, possibly. Only if he wanted to leave though. which is why bayern are doing the 'we really want you' dance.

I have more than a feeling that Txiki, Soriano, most of the board, pep and his staff are fully aware of what we have and their values. We are talking about a very clever, very astute group of people who have changed our club and the way people think about us to such a degree it is causing fear throughout Europe.
FFP has been a never ending saga brought on by the Germans, the Spanish are similarly scared that we, and the premier league are taking over World football.
BM are simply using their people and their old players to try to unsettle both Sane and the club.
Every day it seems we have to listen to some ex player stating how Sane will be adored at BM and how he will prefer to be there. Their board have been calling us greedy for what they suggest is a fee that is too high to pay.
Our people are more than intelligent enough to see through this unsettling tactic. They will sell if they need to, they will have offered a more than decent contract and whatever that is it will be all kept within the club. It`s how we work!
The Germans can try hard to get Sane on the cheap but it won`t work. I`m more than confident that whatever happens, it will be to our benefit. Have faith!
I`m still to hear a BM spokesperson state they have made an offer of £?????
I still wait to hear that any other clubs have asked about Sane or any of our top players. Maybe the rest of Europe realise our players are happy and secure where they are :)

If Sane had no interest in Bayern there would not be ANY speculation, the German's would be spending their money and time on other targets.

Bayern have spoken to Sane and he is interested, end of story.
