I am quite chilled about this one, while he has potential he only shows it in glimpses. Worse case he goes and we need to get a replacement.

The saddest thing about this is that he has put himself and the club in this situation by not kicking on as he should, he really should be one of the first names on the team sheet but he has failed to nail it down.

How about we sell him for £90 million and then use the money to go balls deep for Mbappe?

I get the impression , only my opinion , that Pep gets frustrated with Leroy when he is playing, and this may be part of the issue.

Perhaps Leroy believes that he doesn't deserve or need the criticism/advice etc. ?

None of us really know how the two interact and whether there is an issue at the root of the delay/refusal to sign .

I agree, and if is going to be a parting of the ways I just want City to get the maximum sale value for the player. Bayern should be made to pay the true market value, 1) for tapping the player up and 2) because Sane is an exceptional talent who we don't really want to lose.

In some way yes, but on the other hand Pep has his strict principles, more than anybody else,
starting with nutrition and sleep behaviour before football comes into play.
Pep always goes the way he believes is right and he surely won't handle Leroy different to anybody else.
Alternative handling in Pep's world truly is a bit limited compared to other coaches.

But maybe that's making the difference after all. ;)

letting sane go when he wants to go is completely different to the KDB mourinho didn't think kev was good enough, we think he's good enough but wont sign a new contract, so we would be selling to get the maxium money.we wont look daft same with the Sancho situation,weve done all we can I presume at the end of the day its the players decision

It will not be Pep’s call at the end of the day unless Leroy becomes a disruptive influence (which I very much doubt)
It will be Txiki Soriano and the Chairman’s decision as to whether and for how much we should let Sane go. You can bet your bottom dollar it will be a business decision and I trust them to make the correct one given how well this club has been run.

I think he will sign his deal but i cant help but feel that the relationship between the lad and the club/Pep will not be the same again and that any deal is only security for us in that it guarantees us top dollar for the lad.

Its a shame as he is a real talent but this has been handled badly by him as far as i am concerned and the club thinks the same going off what Pep is saying publicly.

We give players everything and just expect the same back.
