Is the queue to fish coins out? That fountain in the Traf centre, the one punters chuck coins in, and make a wish...
Apparently, there is a queue, first time ever, reportedly those of the brexit persuasion, but as none will admit to that, it remains speculation. Samaritan's have a mobile chapel on the car park next to the geezer selling "Free our Tommy" t-shirts, and lucky white heather, dream-catchers and candy-floss . Stop-press t-shirts sold out.

They weren’t ignoring it. Iran wanted the deal. The West and Russia and China wanted the deal. Trump nixed it out of envy because it was an ‘Obama’ deal. Slowly bringing in Iran back into the international fold was the right move. Putting them back into the cold was dumb.
To get the right environment for trade ie eliminate borders, tariffs, NTB’s for services etc you also need a political dimension. You need common rules and laws so you need a commission and Parliament to formulate them. You need a judicial court to enforce them and an administrative body to run it on behalf of the member countries.
The EU from its beginning was as much a political project as it was a trade project because you cannot have one without the other and our attempt via Brexit to have the benefits (trade) without the perceived cost (politics) is why Brexit was always going to fail. In short allowing the U.K. to have its cake and eat it was never going to be in the interests of 27 other countries and countries do not willingly vote against their own interests.
That this self evident truth about politics and trade was never agreed on was because Remain focused largely on trade and tried to ignore the politics and Leave focused on selling the lie that we could enjoy the benefits without the cost. And we bought the lie.
And once again for those at the back..........
Brought us the longest period of peace between European countries ... ever.
Yep and the inconvenient truth for you is who has stood up again and supported the uk . The USA that’s who.
Eu , hello eu , are you there eu?
You sure about that?

I don't think it's unreasonable to give credit to both NATO and the EU for the ongoing peace across the continent. It may be just coincidence that the only wars in mainland Europe since WW2 happened outside the EU in the former Yugoslavia. Its played a part without a doubt but the threat of nuclear war and mutual destruction between the USSR and NATO did far more in that regards as even if they felt like a conventional spat for old times sakes, the inevitable escalation soon poured water on it.
NATO should get the credit, not the EU.

We are a self governing nation. We can override the Oct 31st date through the unilateral sovereign act of revoking A50 and there is nothing the EU or 27 other countries can do about it.
Furthermore we can unilaterally leave the EU at any point prior to 31st Oct and again there is nothing the EU or 27 other countries can do about it.
Different aims. NATO to be the West against the East and the EU explicitly to create economic and political ties that would make war between western European nations just too costly. But some people don't like those political aims and seem to think economic rivalry is a way to preserve peace. Its played a part without a doubt but the threat of nuclear war and mutual destruction between the USSR and NATO did far more in that regards as even if they felt like a conventional spat for old times sakes, the inevitable escalation soon poured water on it.

They are the major European sovereign states along with the UK and are also members of NATO, I'd expect support from them before anything comes directly from the EU.He said EU to be fair to him and unless you are admitting that Germany and France are the EU.....? ;-)
Mike Pence seems a regular type of guy.Be careful what you wish for. If Trump were to be impeached, what sort of character would the Republicans put forward in 2020?
It does really .
