I think that's a bit simplistic mate if you don't mind me saying so.

Who's to know what extra inducements (or not) City might be prepared to offer. You make it sound like it's a simple, "take it or leave it, son", and whilst that very possibly might be true, equally it could be miles from the truth.

If we are keen to keep him, who knows what reassurances, or indeed extra cash might be on offer. Simply saying "yes" to the first offer would be pretty idiotic negotiating tactics even by football agent standards.

I wonder if he could seek asylum here, he has over 3 years residency, imagine Leory and Raheem playing for England and throw Aymeric for good measure.

If that is what he wants to do, what would you propose we do to prevent it?
 
Having a bad gut feeling about Sane and I think he will be sold, the chatter doesn't seem to go away and he hasn't felt totally at home with us for some time. Considering what Hazard and Coutinho went for, we should get €100m at least.

The only player i would satisfied with to replace Sane would be Mbappe , give PSG £50m and Sane and we will tear up the Premier league.

The problem is though Mbappe would command huge wages and that might disrupt the dressing room. I don't know if Sane is unhappy with the play time or if he wants pay parity with KDB. Time will tell.
 
My gut feeling, he leaves next summer for 40 mill and we all get on his case for robbing us of at least 60 million in transfer fees.
Not really arsed if he goes, if it was Raheem or Bernardo, that would be a different matter. All down to personal opinion but for me, if he went this transfer window for the sums mentioned we'd be geared up for the next few years. I get he is a good player but personally this future ballon dor winner, that is touted a lot on here, is not something I see.
