Manchester City still have no interest in selling Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich. City sources have stated there have been no talks between the two clubs and that no bids have been received for the Germany winger. [@SkySportsNews]

You just watch once our window closes and the premier starts Bayern will publicity make a low ball bid of 60m and it be all over sky!

That confuses me more than the want for Zaha

No point in keeping a player if he doesn’t want to stay. If?

Better to cash in now and find a replacement. Zaha is just as talented as Leroy. And as usual, Pep will make him a better player.

But if Leroy wants to stay, then pay him his worth, and get this farce over with, so he and City can get on with winning the title again, and hopefully the CL.

Even though City keep publicly saying they are not interested and he is not for sale the Bayern led media still keep pushing this.

Pep in next press conference should say "look he is valued at £120M if Bayern want him offer that price then we will talk face to face and we can tell you to go fuck yourselves"

Well one Zaha is not as talented as Sane, and two City have offered Sane fresh terms, so far unsigned.

Zaha just as talented? lol

It was more the £100m euros than had me scratching my head.

Although after that post I'm still scratching my head.

I wonder has something changed in the last 10 days or so. Bayern were quiet for a while, now they’re commenting again and leaking snippets. At the same time Pep compares the situation to Sancho.

I think Sané’s off as soon as we get back from China. Hope we’re scouting for replacements.

Despite Pep saying he’s not going anywhere and will be here next season? Hmmm

It’s all about opinions. Zaha.

I said, if Sane doesn’t want to sign a new contract. The contract has been on offer to him for quite a while now. Nobody but the parties involved know what it is. But if he was happy with it, he would have singed it by now. He hasn’t. City will only go so far. And if the current offer is the final one, and Sane and and His Agent aren’t happy with it, then it makes sense for Sane to move to another club. If that other club is Bayern, so be it, as long as they pay what Sane is worth in Today’s transfer market. The only other option is for Sane to stay at City and to run down his contract. I hope City won’t let him do that.

Honest question,
could Beckham have a negative influence being an ex-rag,
not only in producing a new glemmer boy but moving him away from City for rag's sake?
No idea how Beckham is ticking.

Furthermore an agent makes money on transfers, not on staying. That surely doesn't help, too.

Back from Japan next Monday/Tuesday I guess. Hope time is running out for Bayern.

How is this not tapping up a player?

It depends how you define tapping up.

UEFA and FIFA only say it's not allowed to contact a player under foreign contract without that club's consent.

Media make money by producing news, mostly based on wild speculation, and we suffer. They are allowed.
Clubs might play a role by channeling headlines but that's difficult to prove obviously.
That's why we don't hear anything about tapping up accusations on international level.

When Rummenigge came out saying they want to be more quiet as a club I can imagine
City really were giving them a decent hint to finally stop that rubbish.

Low? He certainly has a much closer relationship towards Bayern than to City. But it also doesn't make a difference for Low's work if Leroy would be in Germany or elsewhere as long as he performs. He wasn't neutral and should have been, agreed.
Anyway you can't sue Low or DOF Bierhoff or media bound ex-players like Matthaeus for blowing their opinions into the microphones when asked.
They simply don't work for Bayern.
