You're a parliamentary democracy mate, Parliament is sovereign and can't be overruled :)

I know and we currently under law leave, deal or no deal so the parliament that will stop a no deal if one hasn't been agreed isn't doing a right good job of it at the moment.

Hence the planning ;-)

I have previously agreed that

If the WA is signed off I will be gutted but accept y has a consequence of our shit negotiations

Most important thing is for all to firstly accept that the mandate is to leave

The rest is indeed consequences
Maybe you should accept that it's a consequence of any version of Brexit that does not include a customs union.
Because it is.

Out of interest, is there anyone who has "switched sides" on Brexit? Anyone who voted for one thing but now believes in the other? I find most folk are very stubborn in their mindset (leave & remain) despite recent revelations and the the knowledge on the subject that might have been acquired since the vote.

I nearly voted leave but changed my mind two weeks before the vote. My decision has been reinforced the more I have learned in the last 3 years, and I now wonder why I ever considered voting leave.

Not really as i think and have explained why i think countless times that you are wrong.

It was a lighthearted quip at the OMG, dont get too upset over it ;-)

Don’t worry I’m the opposite of upset.

I’m not wrong and you know it baby.

I’m especially not wrong about countries threatening to sue us now about MFN, when we’ve not even signed the WA.

Well you are wrong because no one HAS threatened to sue us lol.

Exit day is the day the treaties cease to apply to the UK. That can be changed by regulations brought by a Minister of State (already has been twice). If Parliament votes to revoke article 50, and the EU accepts that revocation, there is no exit day when the treaties cease to apply.

So we might have a government saying we've left, and Parliament and the EU saying we're still a member state.

Over to m'learned friends.

Wouldn't be right if some barristers couldn't make a packet out of it.

Another Tory MP quits Govt. Battlelines being drawn. Parliament closed until Sept as the Tory Govt and the Tory Opposition retire to their respective Shires to plan the forthcoming war against...each other.

‘I will support any Government efforts to secure a good deal with the EU, and I remain absolutely opposed to No Deal‘ @S_Hammond.

That is going to be one mother of a shitstorm.

I was 50/50 but voted leave. I didn’t feel I could be on the side of Osborne and Cameron given the austerity program and also assumed there would be (at least a sketch) of a plan

I quickly after thought it was a mistake and nothing that happened in the past 2 years has changed my that that I made a mistake. But even if I did feel Leaving was still a good idea, I wouldn’t want this PM and Cabinet taking the UK out

I was 60/40 to leave before the Cameron Reforms with Tusk. It was the result of that that made me realise that the EU was heading in a direction neither I nor the UK wanted it to go in. Forced my hand, really. The EU's discussions haven't done much to endear me to want to remain. An EU Navy now, you say...?

Deselect the fucking heretic! ;-)
