I’ve never known a transfer saga like this....hmmmm....KDB was a bit like this actually. Not used to being on the receiving end is what I meant.

I’m hoping Bayern have played this really badly. So badly that it’s impossible to sell to them now.

Either way it’s nice to see stories appearing that we aren’t selling supposedly coming from City. Something has changed with Bayern clearly panicking.

Manager and CEO of Bayern seemingly being at odds with each other on this hopefully bodes well for us. Certainly feels like City have clipped Bayern’s wings a bit.

About time too. We don’t half put up with a lot of crap as a club. Thank God for Martin Samuel.

Dont read anything in to this. Rummenigge has openly talked about Sane. And reprimanding the manager. In what way? Typically German and Bayern style this.

I reckon Khaldoon is sitting back and having a good laugh at the infighting going on at Bayern.

I don't know. City have clearly had words with them, why the backtracking? If we weren't prepared to sell to them then why would they talk and talk and talk all summer and then suddenly apologize? Could we have told them there is a deal to be done and they are playing nice?

DS perhaps.

i messaged leroy a few months ago on twitter. i'm pretty sure he got it and that's exactly why there has been no movement.

What I can’t get is ... City want 100m+ this window but BMu only offering 80m- ... yet the story is that we are afraid of his price dropping by next summer???

Wouldn’t it drop to about 70% of what it is now??? So not too far from what we’d get if we sold now.

Better to hold on to him if that’s the only reason. Another club will outbid BMu next season. Or in the meantime we’ll have him on an extended contract.

What is clear is that there has been dialogue.

Looking at today we have clipped their wings and briefed to the media that he isn’t for sale at any price.

Bayern have been very public about this and I just think we have seen our arse today. Its a warning shot. Play nicely or we don’t play at all.

Like I said earlier, I think he is going. I just think after today it will play out much quieter.
