The doom assumes that others cannot do as well. I believe that Jesus and Foden can do as well, not to mention Raz. We are blessed and though I want Leroy to stay, he is definitely not better than others on his latter day form.

The question is, Is Leroy capable of changing his attitude out on the pitch to play in Peps system ? We all know he has incredible talent, has that swag we all love and can be a match winner but he needs to work on other aspects of his game. Sergio knuckled down, improved and became a Pep player but can Leroy ? It's going to be up to him and whether he wants to continue as he is and get away with it under a new coach or change. I guess we'll just have to wait and see but I really hope he stays because he's a top quality player.

Cost us the title? Dear oh dear. Sané is our 3rd choice winger. If you’d said it would cost us the League Cup I might have gone “well, I can see what you’re getting at.” But the league? That’s bollocks.
He's not an automatic starter, but he is a very important player sho scored vital goals and can unlock defences with his direct play.

I don't think we would have won the league last season without Leroy

Sorry NK I think we're talking at cross purposes.

The person I've replied to believes Sané is literally clueless about his transfer because Bayern haven't spoken to him at all.

If you're asking me about what Leroy should do, I'd tell him to do exactly what he has done, sit on the fence, show no commitment to either side, lead Bayern on so they make a serious attempt to do the transfer and then you can use their bid to get a better contract at City if you can, or move there if you fancy it.
More s**t from you again. I didn't say that. I said it is not Sane that is leading them on with a "merry dance" as you said. Bayern need to put up or shut up.

3rd choice for us first on the team sheet anywhere else in the world. an injury to Sterling after we sell Leroy and we are fucked.

Of Sané's 22 starts in the league last season, 5 came after January.

Think about that for a second. The last 14 games of the season, where we pull Liverpool back from a 5 point lead and then are neck and neck for 2 months, holding on to win the title, Pep only picked Sané to start 5 times.

In 2 of those games, he was hooked within 10 minutes of half time.

You say that's "playing plenty". Really?

You make a good point here. Bayern are offering £72m (if we believe reports) for a player that is basically out of favour. I'm not saying it's his fault, but he's not raised his game to match Sterling or Bernardo who have put the bar fairly f*cking high. He also knows that it's likely Pep might deploy Mendy in the wingback role also. Whether it's for personal(family back to Germany) or playing reasons he might be right in wanting to leave. I don't like the fact it's to Bayern, PSG would have been my pick with Mbappe involved but never gonna happen.

He's also by far the best left winger we have. You could argue Sterling, given his improvement there but if you stick Bernardo wide left you cut half his game out and if you put Mahrez out there then he can't even do his one trick.

Sané gives us something in that position that nobody else in the squad does. If we do sell him and don't get a decent replacement then we will feel it much more than we did with De Bruyne, considering our plethora of central midfielders.

So Pep finds a solution without KDB but can't without Sane. I know who unlocks defences better but you stick with your logic.

Is this the same Sterling many didn't rate and now we can't do without him lol. Pep develops teams and players, he would find a solution. As for being fucked that's watching a team managed by Stuart Pearce, when did you become so entitled Bill?

I do, yes. He also played plenty before that run and we won a bunch.

His impact for us is huge. Even coming off the bench he's a lethal addition to us.

I'd much rather see Bernardo move inside to facilitate Leroy than see David play week in week out. Everyone is getting nostalgic for Dave but he was dreadful in that run.

I want to see us unleash Sane and Sterling week in week out and Pep needs to stop looking at Sane in a way he doesn't look at others. I didn't see him blocking Delph out of it like he does Leroy.

Sane is and always will be twice the player sancho is.
We've not missed sancho one bit, lose Leroy and it will cost us the title.
We should have KBD back and expect Foden will get more game time. On top of that I can't see Liverpool being as close this season now VAR will be in effect

I’m sure Pep will be most grateful for the advice you have offered.

The only player Pep ever treated differently was Messi, Leroy is not Lionel Messi.
