Selling Leroy would be a terrible move if there's no replacement lined up.

I think the only criticism can be that the deal leaves city no real time to do much business to cover him. However if it’s true Pep is happy with what he has in wide areas then that’s good enough for me. Cancelo in as well and we’re good to go.

I actually prefer him defensively to going forwards! Game of opinions and all that.

Pep perhaps would agree with you , especially because Leroy doesn't appear to listen to what he is being told , resulting in Pep's clear frustration .

In terms of LW depth, yes Sterling is the only out and out winger there, but Jesus can play there as well, he has shown in the Copa that he has that in him.

With Mendy coming back fit and Angelino we would have crosses from the left wings covered as well.

I have said similar, if there was one player who would jump ship for Bayern,Barca or Madrid it would be Sane, be interesting to see if he does leave. Be nice for us to profit on a player for once!

The best player to leave probably yes. However were would you put him in a list of best players at the club ? Personally off the top of my head there are 11 players I would put above Sane in a list of players I wouldn't want to lose.
