That's not true at all. De Gea was £17m, Buffon cost £34m 10 years earlier.

Come on !!! It's City's unbridled spending on fees, agents and wages which has meant prudent clubs like Liverpool and United have to go against the weight of tradition to protect the game from the cheat.
