Barring fitness, we were the better team and for at least half the game, we controlled it bar the odd counter. Raheem was brilliant and Rodri was superb on the ball, beginning many attacks. There are some very good signs.

So glad we came through that. If it is at all possible I hate Liverpool even more this year. Robertson and Trent Alexander leaving feet in tackles against Bernardo then wingeing like buggery when we make any sort of challenge. We were a bit underdone but great togetherness and keeping that winning mentality is so important. We didn't panic when they came at us and we tired. I thought Rodri looks just what we need and will get better each game he plays, he will learn so much from Ferna. Excellent end to the weekend.
