Strong reply, fair play to you.
You can bet I've been hating the lot in my younger years when they were winning everything in their arrogant style
and I've been celebrating with passion any single time they lost a match or even dropped points.
But some more years on my clock and 2 or 3 gray hairs let me change my view and when I'm looking out into the world I can see that hatred is the first reason for so many rubbish developments when it could be so much easier with a step back and a bit of respect.
In case of Leroy I still would love him to stay but only if he is fully committed to City and Pep.
I generally don't like maximum egoisms in team sports and if 170k pw isn't good enough for a 23 yo lad I won't care if he leaves.
Endless growth is killing the planet and I don't see football players in a parallel universe. I see them as members of our societies as anyone else.
I'd like the kids to stop earning more fortunes than they already have and start playing football and be grateful for the life they have.
We have so much talent and desire in our squad, it's just fantastic and even getting better and on top we have the best management on earth.

I share your dislike for Bayern - arrogance personified! On Sane - he’s a wonderful talent but he’s not coming out of this too well in my erstwhile opinion. He could have ended all this crap months ago but he’s kept quiet and let it drag on all summer - he’s obviously basking in the German media stroking his ego. Clearly puts himself before the team and his character has to be questioned if he is allowing his mother to manage his career. If the fee is right and Sane is so utterly indifferent to City then maybe it’s time to let him go. Our success is built on 100 per cent commitment to the team - and I’m seriously starting to doubt whether Sane buys into that philosophy; I don’t know the lad but he’s clearly letting these events run and run for his own benefit. I also have the feeling that this could end up as one of those where even if he did stay and sign a new contract - this shit will rear it’s ugly head every transfer window until he eventually departs - might be better to get the pain over with and move on - remember Fabregas and Barca - that tiresome shit went on for years until he finally slung his hook.

Even next summer we would get £70-80m for him and more clubs would fancy him for that. Keep him, play him and try and get a new contract signed and if not, sell next summer.

If sane wants out he should tell us, quite simple really. If he is unhappy then pep packs him off, pats him on the arse and says cheers for last couple of years. If bayern want him then start the bidding at 100m and see how it goes.

We could even get more.
In 2016, the record fee for a player moving with 12 months left on their contract was €40m.
2017, €66m for Sanchez.
2018, €100m for Ronaldo.
2019, it's €100m + €30m in bonuses for Hazard.
Leroy could easily go for £80m/€90m next summer with the way prices are rising, and the way people are paying these days. If he has a good season here, followed by a standout Euro 2020 then he could go for Hazard money.

Agreed, hence why we should keep him, hope he plays to the way he can and signs a new contract. If we sell him now with no replacement the squad instantly becomes weaker with Leroy gone and vinny as well.

One thing most people haven't considered is that Bayern need Sane now. They're a winger short & their first choice Hudson Odoi is out until November. As to whether they'll look elsewhere, or muddle through until next summer remains to be seen, but the situation is more than a bit odd.

That is true and they need more than a winger. They have 17 senior outfield players on contract at the moment so there is no room for injuries. I think they have a time as well as a financial limitation regarding Sane. If they have to pay 150 million Euros for Sane they will be missing those 50 million somewhere else. I hope we deny them Sane.
Ahsan from 93:20 has said on Twitter this morning that he has information that Leroy has told Pep that he'd like to go to Bayern. He has both actual sources and no reason to lie, so I believe him.

He might just be holding his council until the stars align.... Bayern pay him what he wants, & indicate they're willing to pay City what we want.
At this point he has the choice to signed his improved contract, or go. Everything else in between is just mere media & fan speculation.
