Looking forward to him joining, been watching a few youtube videos and his attacking skill is clearly his best attribute. Will certainly give us a different option depending on the opposition.

Danilo was not bad going forward and not bad defensively, Cancelo looks to be an upgrade going forward and defensively I can't imagine there will be any drop off.

Agreed, we don't need to buy a new centrehalf, Fernandinho and Walker with Stones, Laporte and Otamendi is perfect.

We need to be strategic about it though, play them when you can in the cups and against lower league sides to rotate and best maintain the fitness of the main three. You wouldn't want them to have to play against big opponents or in keys matches.

As you say it’s a strategic decision. Some teams come to the Etihad and offer nothing - they are so obsessed with keeping their shape that they pose little or no threat - in those games we can play 3 at the back and Walker in particular would be fine against any quick counter attack. In these park the bus games I wouldn’t be surprised to see us play 3 at the back with Walker, Laporte and Fern.
