If you account a €37m profit against the sale of Danilo, then the acquisition of Cancelo is a €65m expense, as outlined in the public statement by Juventus. Only the difference is €28m, not the fee for Cancelo.

I’m defence the page you linked seemingly favours spending and incomings rather than outgoings and with the greatest respect to Danilo, a squad player leaving us isn’t anywhere near as newsworthy as brining in a £60m replacement. On the article dedicated to his signings it mentions Danilo’s departure and fee directly underneath cancelo’s.

Hm..but it's not proper reporting when it implies we spend 60m when in fact it's only about 25m. When there is so much scrutiny our how City conducts transfers, it should've been made clear. And remember Sanchez was always mentioned as a free transfer instead of 30m.

Doesn’t Lucas Hernandez €80m to bayern count as the highest for a full back?
Im actually not bothered. Accounting wise both clubs make profits on sale, which unfortunately is now important

Looked at this thread for for insights into Cancelos style of play and how it will affect the team dynamic. Instead got a detailed report on the financial details of our transfer deals. Can we have a separate forum for city's financial dealings so I can avoid them, as they bore the crap out of me.Cheers very well explained.
