Yeah I heard that also. I'm not a doctor, but I thought you couldn't really diagnose it until it did.
You can’t, not with any real confidence, anyway.

I always had to wait 2-4 days before having knee injuries scanned, and I’ve unfortunately had a few.

This one made me smile ;
Manchester City potentially cost itself €100 million (or more) to use Sane in a glorified friendly for who knows what reason.

The whole scenario is just one colossal debacle after another. If this deal was truly so close to getting done, then all three parties should have approached it with a little more urgency. Everyone needs to chill out a bit in pointing the blame, though. Each party in this mess deserves to be face-palming itself.
Isn't that an American site? There really are some clueless whoppers on there.

As someone with a partial ACL tear, it's difficult to diagnose and decide what to do with it. The only way to repair a partial is to fully reconstruct it as if it was fully torn. They might decide it's not necessary if the knee feels stable. He has to wait for swelling and pain to subside, usually 3-4 days, and then test out the knee. They might get 2-3 weeks into trying it out and decide it needs surgery and reconstruction, then it's 6-7 months.

It doesn't matter how much its torn, it only matters how stable the knee is. Only one way to find out. If we are told it's only a partial, it's not necessarily a good thing. It can actually mean longer out.

You'd have thought they'd have learned about celebrating our injuries by now. Didn't help them to have our best player out all season last year.
