The muppets are still peddling the line that City have unlimited oil wealth.
We have but the Cartel got UEFA to bring in financial fair play to block us spending it.

Our owners just changed their methods and made certain our income increased to comply with their pettiness.

If you are in debt up your eyeballs though, well that is fine.

Smaller club is old thinking, they’ve been to a champions league final. They consistently qualify for the champions league whilst the rags have been in a constant struggle to make top 4 since Fergie left. Spurs have a manager you would want and players you would want and a ground you would want as well. You can’t say that about Stretford Rangers, just because they fill their ground with Chinese tourists and noncey looking Irish blokes it doesn’t make them a big team in the real footballing world maybe in their make believe world in the Home Counties though.

That was my point, I am certainly not knocking Spurs. I was saying that is how far down the Rags have fallen.

They took Inter to the cleaners with Lukaku, got back whatever they had paid for him ! However I am surprised that a lot of their fans are not worried about their attacking outlet. They have no established world class strikers in their ranks. If you compare the other teams (except Chelsea) Arsenal: Aubameyang, Spurs: Kane, Us: Aguero, Liverpool: Firmino, all of these teams have players who can go and score 20+ goals every season, I am not sure Rashford can do that for them. There is a good chance this tactic backfires for them. They are basically replying on Martial or Rashford clicking and that is a lot of pressure on two players who have not been consistent at all.

I think their squad currently is not that good except Pogba and De Gea. Their midfield is extremely weak unless Fred does a 180 from the last season and add to that they have 7 centerbacks in their squad.

Pogba and De Gea, you sure?

Pogba and De Gea, you sure?

In a different side with a good manager Pogbad might, just might be okay, but he's not top four quality - he's too lazy and inconsistent for that. But I think he's a lot better at what he does than the alpaca is at what he does.
Since De Gea has been there the rags have played a very defensive game, and he's been protected by the quantity of players in front of him. He is not comfortable with the ball and he certainly doesn't take control of his area like a top keeper does. He's been bloody atrocious in the international games I've seen him in, and I haven't been impressed by his performances in the Premier League for a long time.

All in all I believe the rags will struggle this season, because they have way too many weaknesses that other teams will exploit.

Oh, and never forget, they are scum!

Come on, that's just not right.

Your last line should be much bigger than the rest of the post, after all it is the most important bit.

Watching Sky news and weird beard Cooper from the swamp - ugh!

First up he introduces the “award winning pitch” —- what???? Award for what .... most rats in 90 minutes?

Second up ... he announces he’s leaving cos he can’t stand the smell .... this is because the groundsman has just completed the “traditional” spreading on the garlic on the pitch!!! What the ...!!!

He then explains that this “tradition” happens every week.

Such jollification on a slow thursday afternoon Roll on Saturday

Where's Bale, Dybala, Williams, Mandzukic, Fernandes, Rodriguez, Cancelo, Longstaff, Eriksen, Griezmann, Ramos, Varane, Coutinho, Rakatic, Aubamyang?

Was worried they'd start the season strong

De Gea

Cancelo Ramos Varane Maguire Bale

Rakatic

Dybala Eriksen Coutinho

Griezmann

Instead they've added AWB & Maguire who'll go into their 11 but keep Piano Man & Pogba hahaha imo not replacing Lumpkaku the rags are weaker.
