Klopp will boycott the domestic cups again you watch - he knows he doesnt have the ability to fight for every trophy or the squad to do it. I would be shocked if he changed his approach this season

He knows that if he falters in the league he would be under immense scrutiny after spending the money he has - therefore he will target the same 2 comps all the time

As you mention they have had a long season the front 3 and they are still heavily reliant on them - take away the amount of good fortune they got last season and they will make the top four and thats it

Of course he will. Going deep into the cups would be the worst possible thing for them. They walked a tightrope last year between injuries, some luck, fitness, and generally outperforming their fundamentals. Playing those extra games at the business end of the season just isn't doable without affecting their performance in the league.

Just read Lawrenson's opening day fixtures guff. To any lurking Norwich fans (the original, not the Stretford imitations), apparently you shouldn't bother going tonight so take Lawro's advice and save some petrol.

Good to see at least one league champion team kick off the new season though.

The name Liverpool FC seems to now be European Champions Liverpool whenever mentioned I won't be holding my breath for us to be constantly referred to as Champions Manchester City let alone treble winners etc.
