There are positives and negatives to FoM.

Removing it right away like Patel is aiming to do is utterly stupid and will inevitably lead to problems.

I personally like it overall and I also think that if we didn’t have it we’d be staying in the EU.
So what are the remainer negatives to FoM?

So what are the remainer negatives to FoM?

I’m not sure what remainer negatives mean. They’re either negatives for both of us or not.

The negatives are the housing crisis, the strain on the country’s infrastructure such as school places, transport etc.

The positives are that it offers freedom to the continent and that we need people to fill jobs, that desperately need doing.

A big positive is that EU nationals actually contribute more than British nationals, on average.

I think FoM is a massive red herring tbh. The only sensible arguments I've heard against it are based on security and the fact that some EU nations tend to give out EU passports a bit too easily to non EU citizens. Piri Patel just playing to the gallery to pacify those that are unhappy with a slight softening in Bj's rhetoric.

I’m glad she’s thinking of me

Population, infrastructure, wage suppression where have you been fella:-)

It wont need to be.

The practical solutions are what will be implemented.

That's checks away from the border for those that have not been keeping up
Except that the WA states that the 'practical solutions' have to be acceptable to the EU and if they aren't the WA then stipulates the UK has to stay in regulatory alignment with the EU.
Initially the EU only required NI to be aligned but Mavis insisted on the whole of the UK ( DUP and precious precious Union and all that).

Johnson has got nothing other than bluster. This ain’t ending well.

Bob you are going to be so disappointed when these alternatives suddenly get used in the event of a no deal which won’t happen as for every scare story thrown our way you can triple it for Ireland.

Yes I know.......27 all as one.

Except most of them don’t have a proverbial pot to piss in, never mind rush to the financial rescue of Ireland again.

I think they will.

Another financial rescue of Ireland isn’t in the menu for the majority of the 27 nor the French and German tax payers either.

I actually think something will be done, how it is received is another matter. I wouldn’t bet on no deal unless I was getting 20/1
