Yes. Bad decision to use DRS. However, The umpires no call for LBW was absolutely criminal. That’s as plumb as you will see and he has absolutely bottled it. Shocking decision.
Nah, the fact it hit front pad made it an appeal that should have been turned down, too much going on and it served the Aussies right for wasting their review.

Agree. But just because they should have used their reviews better does not take away from how poor the umpires no call was. With no DRS umpire got the fire one right and the second so badly wrong. DRS was brought in to eradicate the howlers. That no decision was a howler. The fact Australia had no challenges left doesn’t change the fact.
I agree, but if the Aussie's had taken their chances (dropped catch and misfiled in the last couple of overs) it wouldn't have come down to that last umpiring decision.

Wowowow!

What an unbelievable knock from Stokes. To go from Australia being 132-2 to Archer getting those 6 quick wickets then still the impossible to be done is remarkable.

Another Ashes classic.

Game on for the series as well... Just brilliant.

Delighted they didn’t have a review, but watched the Lyon delivery to stokes and me and my brother both said ( without a replay ) that’s out. The standard of umpiring this series is woeful. That said, get the f*** in!

Amazing game, immense from Stokes to stick it out early on and restrain his natural inclination to attack. Can't believe the Aussies threw it away not once but three times in the last dozen deliveries!

You can’t be serious? Too much going on? Like what...one of the greatest run chases falling agonisingly shirt if he gave it out? The umpire bottled it. The innings by Stokes was sensational and under such pressure he played a brilliant innings. Times it so well initially then opened up as he ran out of partners. But you have to distinguish between the emotion and heroics of that and that no call at then end. It was hitting middle to leg mid way up to the naked eye. I called it as plum as soon as it hit him. Not sure what the umpires was looking at to turn that appeal down.

Fantastic that watching City win then turn over for the end of the cricket to see stokes clinch this test, can't wait to be at the real Old Trafford on the forth day of the forth Ashes test, keeps it alive and everything to play for.

Before the missed chances, we turned down a single which would have brought the scores level.

I hope the lbw appeal and missed run out don’t overshadow a spectacular innings.

Well well well told you all to put your house on Australia hahhaha

That was the best run chase and innings Ive ever seen. Stokes though what an unbelievable player.

Easy to state that after you’ve seen the balltracker.

Guessing you’re an Aussie....
