Lukaku and Sanchez purchased with such fanfare that they were going to bring the glory days back. Now quietly ushered out of the door you’d be gutted if you were an Inter Milan fan having to watch them two show ponies. Then again you’d be gutted if you were a rag having to watch the club they’ve both just left.

I’ve never seen a club quickly write off player signing so quickly Sneijderlin, Fred, Sanchez, Lukaku, Micky Terrapin, Matic. All bought with significant outlays one season and gone or trying to be pushed out of the door the next.

Another one they wrote off quickly after just one season went to psg! Name that player oh he was another record buy.

I was in a shop last night and a guy walked in with a rag shirt on. I said "you've got some shit on your shirt pal"...... "Where?"....."There". Pointing to the badge. ..... "Oh, yeah you're right".

What's wrong with the average rag nowadays? I can't even wind the sad fuckers up: /

Fancy having to fork out £18 million just to get someone to fuck off, not buying a bright young prospect, or experienced player,
they're actually paying that much to get rid of someone. Each day I wake up nowadays, seeing and hearing the absolute state of
the Rags now, after all these years, I am more and more astounded, it's not just good, it's absolutely fucking marvellous.
I sometimes wonder if I'm living in a fairyland of joy.

Quite a few years ago everywhere you looked was some muppet wearing a rag shirt. Hard to spot nowadays. Thinking of publishing a book called Where's the Wally.

But, looking ahead, rag fans will be discussing "Who's going to take our penalty in our next game?"

I expect them to get at least one penalty. At this rate they'll have 38 pens by next May, in the PL alone.

A tribute to the relentless attacking that Ole has instilled into them, surely. Couldn't be other reasons, could there?

I'd love to see a stat on minutes or seconds in the rags case, of time in the penalty area in relation to pens awarded.

I somehow think we'd be bottom.

Logically, there can be only three reasons for this:

1. Utd are better at diving
2. Refs (consciously or not) favour them
3. It is a random statistical freak.

I'm sure I don't know which.

Incredible really. However, I doubt you'll read much about this falling on Mourinho who sanctioned this move

Still, I think a different outcome would've been probable had he chosen to come to City and not pushed for the biggest wage package

I doubt that he negotiated the salary though. That would be Woodward surely ?

Anyway a spectacular failure for the rags, which is always a good outcome imo.

The trouble is that they are paying the clueless sod millions to " manage " the mess at the swamp.

I recon the Wolves manager will be taking home more money than Ole. They like expensive players but the most important cog in the machine is an Aldi buy. Cardiff fans prefer Neil Warnock to him, that tells you all you need to know.
