In your opinion. Which wasn't the opinion of the majority of the country was it. You guys always convieniently forget that minor detail.

I voted Leave but about 6-12 months later realised that what I (naively) saw as a potential opportunity for the UK to thrive is being hijacked but the ideological lunatics, I should have seen it sooner really but there you go. And I’m only worth 1 vote so this whole shit show can’t be laid squarely at my door

Perhaps you can enlighten me to what, 3 years on, can now potentially be achieved in next few weeks via the negotiation the UK is hoping will restart and what measurable benefits the public as whole will see in 6 months, 1 year and 5 years. You know, like a plan....

Oh please don't give him any more reason to bang on about how he formed his own opinion.

""Certainly the EU have no need to find a solution for the backstop - and neither have the UK.

Do you understand why?"

I mean, no-one needs to find a solution for the backstop because the backstop is the solution.

What no-one has come up with is a different workable solution to the problem for which the backstop is the solution.

(Do you understand why?)
Ha ha - but he - and you - simply misunderstood

Proper funny the way you guys cannot understand simple facts - yet bang on.....

Of course it will because finally, politically we have grown the set of balls needed that will ensure one.

This is a lot of things but I don’t think by any reasonable measure it can be described as a good political move. If we do sign anything it will be very similar to what we have which won’t satisfy the Brexit Party and will probably result in Johnson being out by Xmas

A three year old article that points out a few Remainers got it wrong about Greece 18 years ago.
Better than nothing I suppose but struggling to see the relevance.
There's a couple of reasons people fail to see things. You can decide for yourself which applies to you - I wouldn't presume to guess.

It wasn't even mentioned on the ballot paper.

Stop it will you.

Despite being and voting remain they know 100% what it was we leavers voted for and thank fuck for that because being a bit of a thick twat i was led to believe i voted for us to leave the EU and not remain.

You thicko how could voting to leave the Eu honestly mean leaving the Eu ?

You have just demonstrated how confusing the ballot paper was cos we haven’t .

We don’t that’s exactly the point. What we do know is that every person campaigning for leave, including the Tories, Farage, Lexit etc. only ever talked about getting a deal.
