I posted only the Skynews link at 1.47pm Adam Boulton with Ed Stourton/Lode Desmet and a few minutes earlier in the OP links to the Blind Man's Brexit book and the BBC 4 Documentary Behind Closed Doors. No Tory MP video at all.
I'm still waiting for the video of Verhofstadt...

And why do you think this is? Having survived the promised emergency budget and economic collapse of 24 Jun 16 the boy crying Wolf is now ignored. Remain are taking a canary down the coal mine that they themselves declared dead 3 years ago. Much is said about the lies and exaggerations of vote leave, but it is those of the remain campaign that have lead us to this point in equal measure.

You do know how the story about ‘ the boy who cried wolf’ ended, don’t you.......

Why dont we leave on 31 Oct, have a general election where parties can indicate whether they'd apply to rejoin, and then everyone is happy?

Because the damage done between 1st Nov and whenever the GE would take place would be horrendous and the terms of our re-entry would be considerably worse than the terms we have now

On the bright side you'd get to go back to having the best deal of any EU country while still constantly playing the victim...

But the EU wouldn't do that, would they? Presumably they want us to stay and an offer of a fast tracked return post GE (might only take weeks - IF the party wining the election was pro-EU membership) would be the best way out of the current impasse for all concerned?

Major EU talking heads have reiterrated their support to the British people and I'm sure they'd do this. If they wouldn't guarantee return on same terms post early GE that would be a massive u turn for them and would undoubtedly guarantee just one result.

Not at this stage. Best scenario for the EU is the UK exiting with a deal, second best is no deal.

I was in Berlin over the weekend an on the bicycle tour they touched on the rise of the Nazi Party and burning of the Reichstag, fitting up the ‘communist’ who allegedly started the fire and how Hitler went on to take more control and so on

What is interesting is that the Nazi Party were voted in, they took the result and ran with it. Someone will be along shortly to say that Brexit will not result in the UK gassing Jews and Gypsies but people forget that the holocaust was the end, not the beginning - the power grab is the potential parallel with Brexit
Good grief.
It's there believe me
I caught that segment. I can also confirm what you've stated as being correct, for what it's worth.

Even now, after all that’s happened over the last three years, I am regularly horrified by the utter lack of understanding of even the basics of the EU, Brexit and simple economics, usually from those who shout the loudest.

I suppose it’s just like football, and I’ve commented many times about how politics has turned into football.
