No deal is looking likely to be blocked.
A deal will never be agreed because the EU are only offering a shit deal that will never be agreed and don't seem willing to negotiate.
So extension after extension until what?

I don’t believe they’re going to end up putting concentration camps out there and people in them.

I do believe both use some tactics similar to the far right and similar to Nazism in its earlier days.

Again the Nazis were far more extreme in actually having violent clashes with communists but Johnson’s trampling on parliament and the propaganda used by both is that of a fascist.

I don’t think Johnson is one generally speaking, he’s just happy to use their tactics as he was happy to previously champion liberalism when it suited.

This is why he’s dangerous.

Defections are rare in normal circumstances.

Though I do think that an MP should call a bye election if they change parties as a courtesy to the constituents.

In his defence if he called one now then his constituency would have no representative in time to represent them for a hugely important period.

FWIW I met him at a few events prior to the whole Brexit episode and he’s always been a bit... different, even then. Generally I find him to be one of the more Conservative members of the Conservative Party, so I guess that’s why I like him!
