I was going to ask which referendum you meant, then realised you can apply what you say to either.
Not really. Scottish independence has always been an issue for a large vocal minority in Scotland hence the election of large numbers of SNP MPs and MEPs. It was proven to be a minority by the Indyref.
On the other hand, nobody really cared about Brexit. UKIP had either one seat or none most of the time and few gave a toss about the EU. UKIP managed some good results in the EuroParl elections because most people couldn't be bothered voting due to apathy and (correctly) perceived lack of influence on our day to day lives. It was purely the right wing press that stirred up the whole shitshow, and because UKIP were taking a few votes off the Tories, Cameron gambled on the referendum and lost.

As for Ireland, I would go the whole hog and ask the Republic to accept reunification, grant British citizenship to those that want it, and agree to pay the reunification costs for the next 20 years .

Do we (NI) get a say in this, or are the English just gonna decide for us? (again)

I'm sure that's your perception, but I simply don't agree. I think EEC / EU membership has always been a divisive issue, and not just for the right. I actually think the referendum result and the split in parliament represents this. I'm sure at times we gave been more pro EU, and even less at others, but this has always been a tricky issue. Brexit as a term probably didn't exist before 2016, but discontent with our net loss/gain from 'Europe' has been an issue since we joined the common market. it has consistently divided all governments, including the Blair govt. Indeed Blair had some real internal strife over the EU until 9/11 focused minds on other issues.

Yes we would, but we have got a little known about, internationally registered agreement lodged in the UN that would require asking NI how they felt about it.

I think that would lead to a return to violence. I would hope to be wrong there but it doesn’t seem a goer until the nationalists have a maj and vote for it as is in the GFA.

I dint know your personal situation but you do sound like a left wing ideologist, this is the real world pal, you can’t just take money from the wealthy, it’s virtually impossible in democratic countries.

My standard is science and youre claim is not backed by it, rather you make paternalistic remarks that are rather impolite. There are in fact various ways to take from the very rich as obviously has been proven in the past and even if the very rich try to avoid tax there are ways to strongly dissuade that. The simple fact is that many politicians are (reasonably likely) so influenced by the interrests of the super wealthy that they are corrupted to work towards their interrests and providing some form of justification for it with aid of media with similar interrests, which seems part of the reason why the issue exist anyway.

Pretty much has to surely.

Is there a record for the most minority or minority governments that Johnson is going for?
Or is Cummings just a fifth columnist for Farage?
Probably has to be Lloyd George after the split in the Liberal Party over Irish home rule, think they lost over 100 MPs from a narrow C+S majority with the IPP. He's making good progress though.
