Yeah but the lease was legally binding coz Mrs Johnson(obviously a remainer) has signed it and probably without haggling and telling the salesman how desperate she was for the car and would happily pay the salesman’s asking price.
I think Boris May find her knickers on the back seat which would be ironic for him:-)
Would the first point matter to the salesman even if its true? He has a signed agreement? Agreed with the then purchaser. If someone else comes along and says the lease deal isn't good enough but won't specify why the salesman is holding the aces because he has the agreement. When Mr J storms off he does so on foot because he has no car and there is still the agreement to pay certain sums that can be referred to the court. Mr J may feel his is the better man but he will still be on public transport and arguing the toss about a payment his Mrs has signed up to.
As for the knickers ( horrid image as that is ) not so much ironic as the icing on the cake for the other side - they keep the car with all the benefits that has whilst Johnson alternates between public transport and shank's pony. ( and there is a frosty reception at home ) Meanwhile he could well be sued for non-payment and he will always know jis Mrs fucked him over and left him a powerless cuckold despite his insistence he could do better.
