I'm sure you're right to some degree mate, but isn't the cover only for package holidays and not just flights only. I might have dodged a bullet here because we're about to start looking for flights only for a trip to Tenerife

We always travel independently Bob, more often than not considerably cheaper. Thomsons/TUI has turned to rat shit since it became TUI, the only thing of value they do are the cruises.

Booked them for the last three years for my annual jaunt to Majorca cycling and they have always been excellent I was shocked last month when they offer a 10 month direct debit to pay for the group booking, that is no way to help with cash flow at the worst time of the year for them when summer season ends.

If it goes south I have back up plans but it would be gutting as they are always decent as were Monarch
