I find it slightly strange they blame Woodward, or more accurately why they blame him. The chap is for filling his duties that he was hired for. I wonder do reds actually believe the Glazer's are pissed off with him? They are not stupid, they know full well the model they have and what it would do to the club on the pitch. You can't blame the bloke who is doing his job well. He is simply executing the Glazer's orders really. He will run his ideas past them, they give the nod, i assume with reasonable confidence.

I may be wrong but i doubt it is to far from "keep utd a healthy attraction for sponsors, make us lots of money" coming from the Glazer's direction. That said, it is not hard, just show sponsors how many chans in the world utd air on and the amount of people who will see their noodles advertised. Their attractiveness is largely still an effect from when they were successful, an 'easy sell' so to speak.

I can see that starting to drop off a fair bit this very season though. As we know, there is no sentiment in business, companies will drop them like a hot rock and look for more attractive vehicles to promote their wares. They have been a stocking filler of a team for to long now, the bounce back companies will have hoped for is just that now, a hope.

As fun as it is to laugh at Woodward, their anger and frustration is misguided. Long live the Glazer's business interest in Utd!

I think their fans anger should be saved for their players, who are currently stealing a living. You can blame coaching methods, formation etc,
but most of them look like they've never seen a football.

I was reading the article on the MUEN web site with Player Ratings for our demolition of Watford. Then I started reading the Comments section and one of the trolls posted
"Manchester is still red"
How right he was - red faces with embarrassment at the crap coming from the swamp. And all the blood pouring out of the wrist slitting.

The rags are still shit by the way.

United's midfield is unservicable - with Pogba being the biggest problem of all. He simply doesn't defend or track back.
United's real problem though is the lack of a Technical Director to set down a plan and to buy players that interact well with other players.

Long may it last.

This is so true. There is just no pattern of play at all and they have been playing like this for years under different managers. The ball is either kicked aimlessly long by De Gea or when it does come from midfield it is just belted into the box. United play like a lower-league team in an FA Cup tie against a top team. They are just playing for free kicks and set pieces. They never seem to score any goals from open play. Why don't the so-called pundits call this out. They look tactically miles behind teams like Bournemouth. Pogba is a fraud who can't even control the ball properly let alone dominate in midfield. The players themselves (apart from Phil Jones obviously) must be aware of this.
