Prorogation - Judgment Day:10.30am Tuesday 24/9/19

We should ask them to keep him. He'd make a thoroughly worthy successor to The Donald.

They are cut from the same cloth. Trump will ultimately fall from power - probably impeached - because he thinks he’s above the law and ultimately he will fall foul of it. Watch this Ukrainian whistle blow - it has legs.

Born to privilege, born to expect to get their own way, born to walk over everyone else and born to expect that the law doesn’t apply to them - no surprise that Johnson and Rees- Mogg et al have gotten themselves into this mess.

Unfortunately it will have no effect on Mogg whatsoever. Hardly anyone likes him anyhow, but he will still be there shit stirring either in Parliament or elsewhere, ten years from now, pushing his poisonous shite, irrespective of leave, remain, or who is in Government at the time.

You are correct- he has a huge fortune off-shored in Singapore- in which he pays no tax. The EU are planning to change that tax loophole- which might just be behind Jacobs unequivocal support for Brexit.

Lol. Interesting that the spoilt Tory elite like Toby Young are already demanding a change in the Court system. These spoilt brats think they can get their own way all the time and if they can’t buy or bully their way to what they want then things need to be changed. Spoilt little brats don’t even take defeat with dignity.

They think they’re better than us and above the law mate.

They always have done.

Boris Johnson says supreme court decision has made getting Brexit deal harder

Boris Johnson
is speaking on Sky News now.

He says he disagrees with the court’s decision.

He says it is usual to have a Queen’s speech now.

Parliament won’t allow an election, but it does not want prorogation either, he says.

Q: Have you run out of options?

On the contrary, Johnson says.

He says he is trying to get a deal.

He says this case has not made his task any easier.

Breaking'Parliament will come back' - Johnson

Commenting on the Supreme Court ruling, PM Boris Johnson said:"Obviously this is a verdict we will respect, we will respect the judicial process.

"I don't think that it's right, but we will go ahead and of course Parliament will come back.

He added: "The important thing is we get on and deliver Brexit on October 31.

"They thought the prorogation that we chose was not something they could approve of.

"The main thing is that we will get on and deliver Brexit on October 31... but Parliament will come back and we will respect that.

Asked if he would apologise, Mr Johnson said he did not think the ruling was "the right decision".

The most important outcome of this is of course that the tory conference next week will now hopefully be cancelled and the 191 and 197 bus services will be running properly, meaning I won't have to walk home from work. Get in there democracy.

I've a feeling it will go ahead, Johnson will try and keep the show on the road as long as possible.

You think it is acceptable that mps are refusing to act in the interests of the majority who voted in the largest referendum vote ever in this county?

I don’t find that funny in anyway.

Do you think that they should have argument in the supreme court?
