Prorogation - Judgment Day:10.30am Tuesday 24/9/19

Thanks for your answer and yes, i was asking is her level up there with the so called best.

I also had no idea that as a member of the Scottish bar you cant sit in an English court?

I watched the morning one of the Scottish QC's did his bit and remember the judges getting a tad pissed off with him as he tried a bit too hard to be clever in front of them.

No, the bars of the three countries (England and Wales counts as one) are limited to their own jurisdictions. So Lord Pannick could no more have appeared in the Court of Session than Joanna Cherry could have appeared in the Divisional Court.

The various offshore jurisdictions (eg Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar and the Isle of man) all have their own bars, and again English barristers do not have rights of audience in those courts.

Question for you who i think is a lawyer and @gordondaviesmoustache

Cherry is a QC and brought part of the case along with others who are possibly also of the legal profession in parliament. Could they not do the case themselves legally or is it a case of they are not at the level of those they asked?

Probably a question of specialism. You don't dabble in the most important constitutional case in decades. You get yourself the best public law advocate you can, and hope the oppo don't get there first.

Just to illustrate what a fucking oak Johnson is.... he insisted proroguing was about compiling a Queens speech - that was his argument. In New York Sky News interviews him and -

In New York, Boris Johnson said that it was a ruling that "we shall respect... we will go ahead and of course parliament will come back".

He added: "I have the upmost respect for our judiciary, I don't think this was the right decision. I think that the prorogation has been used for centuries without this kind of challenge.

"There are a lot of people who want to frustrate Brexit. There are a lot of people who want to stop this country coming out of the EU."

So there you have it - the prick confirms from his own mouth that it was about Brexit - no mention at all about the Queens Speech

Toby Fucking Young....

Yeah but don't forget at times like this the Tories get their mouthpieces out to toe the party line and try and make believe the opposite to what is happening is in fact the truth. That blonde lass probably GAVE Boris £126k in another tweet by this wanker...........

Of course it was about brexit in the same way those that challenged it was all about remain and stopping brexit.

If proroguing parliament had guaranteed us remaining they would not have given a single fuck about our democracy and the leavers would have been the ones up in arms over it.

Honesty needs to work both ways over brexit.

Yeah but you can also say those who brought this action said it was nothing to with brexit but about upholding our parliamentary democracy.

Yet outside the Supreme Court there are only those shouting to remain celebrating with that fat Scottish jabba the hut in the middle

This case was all about brexit.

I saw that, a clear admission of guilt, only it was lost in a flurry of dither, waffle and fudge.

Johnson is clearly rattled, he was fluffing his lines in what was, even by his standards, a bumbling display of a man out of his depth.

Bravo sir for big fat Scottish jabba the hut.
