Prorogation - Judgment Day:10.30am Tuesday 24/9/19

Do you know I think every single post I've ever seen of yours on the politics threads are in someway defending the Tories.

I don’t care what you think and it has no relevance when you post you are disgusted with rhetoric, mention Jo Cox yet was nowhere to be seen when a rapper thought it a good idea to hold an effigy of the PM’s severed head?

You can be equally disgusted with that or I can call your hypocrisy out?

Over to you.

It what world is what a rapper or comedian or rock star says or does comparable to what an elected MP says in parliament. Comparing what a rapper trying to shock does or says to an MP or prime minister is just ridiculous.

That's the first I've heard about a rapper and that cunts head. I was just shocked at him shrugging his shoulders at several female MP's pointing out about his dangerous rhetoric, even after they mentioned the murdered MP.

I still think there have to be more people in the UK like Rory Stewart, gentle, calm, measured, and polite. Irrespective of hue and side of the Brexit debate, there don’t seem to be many parliamentarians who think and act moderately.

Would be interesting to see if Remainers were still staunch ‘defenders of Parliamentary sovereignty’ if it wasn’t conveniently doing what they wanted. I can’t prove it but I suspect they’re talking bollocks ;)

I am not a Remainer, but I am a staunch believer in Parliamentary democracy

I have consistently said, the issue is far more important than Brexit, because it is far more important than Brexit. If the Supreme Court had not acted in the way it did, we were in danger of heading towards an authoritarian dictatorial state, ruled by a narcissistic meglomaniacal demagogue and that never ends well.

So it’s hypocrisy.

No worries, do carry on.

Johnson is an embarrassment to the nation. He has answered no questions, showed no contrition, gives no respect and could not give two fucks about anyone but himself.

Utterly shameful performance from him, he has taken his clown act to a whole new level of farce and ridiculousness,

still waiting for his reply to Jezza's question ref the money and the Busty Blonde....................

And yet, despite all this, Labour is still behind in the polls. Corbyn is electoral hemlock.

Sadly there are evidently a lot of people who lap his shit up.
Probably the same kind of people who think terms like "Liverpoo" and "De Gay" are the height of sophisticated wit. That's the level of childishness our Prime Minister has sunk to.

I remember my first impression i really got from Boris when he became such a strong candidate for the Tory's. The first oppinion i think i made about Johnson on this forum even before he was ellected was that "he looked quite the power hungry type" .
