Prorogation - Judgment Day:10.30am Tuesday 24/9/19

I think it’s quite likely that Corbyn will stand down this year. But I’m sure he will be replaced by someone of similar beliefs. I don’t think there’s any possibility of him being replaced by anyone who could win a clear majority in an election

Yep momentum will install their man/woman without a shadow of a doubt.

But you have to accept that you as a self proclaimed socialist / communist and extreme left winger are in the vast minority. The vast majority of people don't want that and recognise that it does not work.

And I will continue to argue that given the chance it will work and make the country a better place for every man, woman and child who lives here. The alternatives are far worse.

Youre reaction is actually a perfect example of an anti-socialist movement based on denunciation than one on arguments. You go from socialist to communist to extreme left winger withought distinction, only to try to marginalise his position on grounds of how many one (mis-)perceives would support that.

Ive heard people argume many times on this forum that Corbyn would be obviously bad, the problem is that it's practicly never backed by any argument though. Could be that Corbyn is bad, havn't got enough to decide, it's not that those who trash him tend to actuall explain why. It just look like gratuit denunciation as a concious tactic and it's understandable why that could be used but then it also becomes the obvious explenation for that nonsense. Aka, the right don't want the left to win, so they don't mind to create lies and hyperbole's on their rivals because it is i their interrest. So they start to trash on Corbyn and hope that the same kind of repetition that works in advertisement will work in that instance. In fact, the UK is only just a bit behind on the US when it comes to creating a culture of trash talking politics.

The alternative argument is Tory---->fascist----->Nazi.

Not much distinction going on there either imo.

BE WARNED!

a) you are right that there are those on the left who make the same error!

b) those on the left who do not do this kind of thing will NEVER accept that you take the fact that "some lefties are bad" as an excuse to do the same bad thing!

So, while you are right that political denunciation exist on both sides, the fact is that some are extremists and some are willing to look across the isle. If you join the denunciators taking excuse in that some of the left do it to ... then i who want to reach across will piss on you for subsribing to the similar partisan BS and rightfully so imho.

Where has it worked?

He is a **** - a first class nasty ****. Surely you can see that?

Surely you are not serious. I have respect for people by default, i see no reason to disrespect Rascal i think most of his posts are well thought off, if that perhaps i do not nessecarily agree with all of it.

If the left and I’ve seen them do it, have done that in the past then they are part of the problem but the fact is, Johnson is behaving like a fascist so it’s an entirely legitimate point at this time.

Hitler in the 30’s tried to close parliament, ended up succeeding, he manipulated a tired and old Head of State to the degree nobody had done before, he used media allies to call opponents in the political and judicial space “enemies of the people”, he abused the courts and tried to bypass them too, until he took over them.

Johnson has tried all of the above at least once. He hasn’t gone as far as education camps for his opponents, where people ended up dead, or having storm troopers attacking them in the streets but you don’t have to murder people to be a fascist, the above paragraph is enough to fall into the definition and Johnson has done.

I was angry at him for lying about Brexit but this now transcends Brexit and I genuinely want the very worst for him. He has complete contempt for our democracy, our parliament, the public and the Queen for that matter.

You think he’s a **** because he’s going to put your tax up, let’s have it right.

On the flip side you like Johnson because he’s going to give you a tax break.

Corbyn will put my tax up too but I want him to and Johnson would give me a tax break but I think that’d be completely immoral given how our country’s infrastructure is failing.

He is up against people who are refusing to deliver on the will of the people and who wont give us a general election. He is clearly frustrated. In an election he would win in a landslide and get Brexit done. I know you are fearful of Brexit but I see it and so do many others as a wonderful opportunity. The world wont stop spinning.

Mate - totally wrong. I genuinely give thousands and thousands of my money away each year. I have no interest whatsoever in material possessions and if i am taxed more so be it. It is not about being taxed. It has been proven time and time gain that increasing tax burden stifles the economy.

If my business is taxed more I employ less people and it stifles my growth where I could reinvest and grow - simple as that.

Corbyn is an absolute disaster. Please tell me you would not vote for him?

Not Rascal - Corbyn!

Oh right, well why would i? I hardly even know what he stands for.

I mean, i can be respectfull to politicians even if i disagree. There are always those on the opposite end of youre political view that manage to bring a far better and ethical argument than others and that typicly is more the standard by which i evaluate the positions of people rather than their leanings ... i hope.

SO give me reason to think that about Corbyn, and consider that you will need to give me reasons that are beyond "political difference's that one should be able to respect". I mean, does he beat his kids or something?

No he isn’t, the vast majority of MP’s have voted for one form of Brexit in the house, the trouble with the whole thing is that nobody can work out what’s the best ways to leave.

He’s backed himself into a corner to get the hardline Brexit vote by saying he’d rather die in a ditch than not leave on Oct 31st.

When you say something like that to get half his party, the more extreme side and a percentage of the public onside, to follow through with something that will bankrupt the economy and trash international peace treaties, the opposition will always mobilise against you and quite rightly.

This is his own and his party’s making, no one else’s.

YOu're going to be told he's a terrorist...or terrorist supporter

I am likely to vote for Labour, yes. I think we need to seriously reconsider our society as a whole and the fact it’s not working for everyone.

The only small thing that may make me vote elsewhere is that my seat is always Tory vs LibDems and so I may vote tactically as to not allow those Tory cunts, who have destroyed this country, a seat.

If you think they have destroyed it wait until you see ten years under labour. I am guessing you are under 30?

They’ve absolutely fucked it and have turned into a far right parody of themselves. The fuckers need to be gone for good for this.

Everyone on this forum knows I’m under 30, not sure what that has to do with anything.
