I don't think we were that bad, I just think Everton played really well. No doubt they'll just bend over when Liverpool are the visitors though. That defending is gonna cost us one day though.

Another game where its uncomfortable because we miss too many chances, even Sterling tried to miss the third.

We were totally dominating that game but once again start squandering chances,the opposition put 3 passes together and its panic stations at the back and a clusterfuck up front.
Goes back to the need for leaders on the pitch.

Ederson and Mahrez absolutely superb today. Dilemma for Pep with both Jesus and Agüero looking incredibly sharp. Can we play them both?

Ready for a bit of stick here...but wouldn't mind seeing Jesus on the left instead of Sterling occasionally. (Personally would have Bernardo playing every game but that's just me!)

Mahrez unplayable tonight, the heart of every good move from us. Sterling suffered a dip in form but it's a character-building exercise for him. He persisted to the end and was rightly rewarded. Ferna and Gundo also not at their best.

It was reminiscent of Norwich, Everton got by our press a few times and had some good attacks, but we should have put the game to bed before they had those chances.
