They won’t mate, Labour will win but with a coalition.

Brexit Party will be nowhere near, they’re just the racist vote.

I think it’s dangerous to dismiss brexit party as racist vote.
Also think Tory’s will win a big majority
I mean even theresa robot personality free May beat Corbyn last time

Nobody has a chance of a big majority.

Nobody.

Would the government lose a vonc this week ? They won the last one by 19 votes, so 10 MPs would have to switch sides. I expect that the tories who have switched to Change or the Lib Dem’s would. How many is that? 5? I don’t think many of the Tories who lost the whip would, certainly not those who want to be reinstated. Perhaps 2 or 3 ? Would some abstain? How many by elections have the tories lost since then?

Do the opposition parties have the numbers? Could it depend on sick MPs not making it to Westminster?

Some tidbits.

Nick Gutteridge (Sun)
Michel Barnier told EU states this week Britain’s backstop plan falls ‘outside’ his negotiating mandate because the UK Govt has ‘given up’ on avoiding a hard border. He said PM Johnson’s insistence there’s progress towards a deal has ‘no basis in reality’.

Politico
“Boris is lying all the time, I don't think there's anyone around left who trusts him” - an EU diplomat on why hopes of a Brexit deal in Brussels are now virtually nil.

https://www.politico.eu/article/brussels-brexit-eu-loses-faith-in-volatile-uk/

And Mail on Sunday may have gone insane. It is also possible Johnson may move to lock oppostion MPs in the Tower.

Are they probing (as if it's a secret) what I posted here - that if the HoC and Lords pass motions (or an Act if need be) for revocation it might have to be communicated to the EU by someone other than the PM if the PM refuses? I guess they're just talking about the situation whereby Liar Johnson breaks the law and doesn't send the letter asking for an extension.

I can foresee a November 1st where Parliament and the EU say we're still EU members and the Prime Minister is saying we've left....

Pro-Brexit and Anti-Brexit customs officers arguing about paperwork.
Pro-Brexit lorry drivers not going through customs until someone gives them an extra form to fill in.
Pro-Brexit holidaymakers coming home insisting they get in the long queue for non-EU citizens while Remainers are already in the departure lounge.
Pro-Brexit patients demanding to see the surgeon's settled status documents before they have their operation.
Et cetera et cetera

If it's a vote under the Fixed Term Parliament Act it would be close (partly because that would possibly trigger a GE with its timing in the hands of Liar Johnson) but if it's a vote of no confidence in the Liar Johnson personally it would sail through (with a huge majority if a secret ballot were possible).

This is the sort of thought provoking engagement that I like to see from certain 'remainers'.

Lifts the veil of your faux saccharine bullshit. You don't seek a compromise or wish to heal the divisions, you just want your own way and fuck anyone else for disagreeing.

You've been "very busy today" but still found time to debate brexit on a football forum with someone you've admitted you find to be dumb...

The amount of crap people come out with on here at times!

I'm one of those searching for a compromise, trying to find solutions, but you seem to be one of those trying to find negatives in everything. If you're not willing to be civil, if you won't engage with those you disagree with, then what's the point? Stop treating no dealers (as i've stopped seeing remainers) as the "enemy" and come to understand each other's positions, with respect.

Why would I treat that with respect when you are again refusing to acknowledge that I am totally wiling to accept your position & go along with exactly what you want ?

It's YOUR PEOPLE who won't accept it & you know it

Why are you telling lies to cover that up ?

And yes, I was busy travelling to hospital & back, sorting things out for my dad.

Stop feeding him. He shifts position to keep the argument going.

It shows up the sheer stupidity of the Brexit referendum when the people voting for it, all voted for their own version.

The various 'soft' & 'hard' Brexit positions, should have been on the ballot box along with the 2nd favourite options.

Quite possible a 'soft' brexit would have won by also being the 2nd choice of remainers.

Then 'democrats' like Bozo & Farage would have spent the last 3 years arguing for a hard Brexit & another referendum.

Bozo wouldn't. He thinks it's economic madness to leave. Soft leave would have suited him down to the ground - so long as it meant Cameron resigning and him becoming PM. We'd have been in EFTA quicker than saying "We''ll still be in a free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border".

He would just do what his handlers told him to.

Marr not laying a glove on BoJo currently, just bulldozing him aside to talk about the Surrender Act.
"I've been a model of restraint" - lol - "I apologise if I misunderstood" Marr accepts the bone and blunders on.

Seems to be some Tory campaign guff about Remainers getting the French to draft the Benn Act. No evidence or sources just part of the Govts efforts to gaslight its citizens.

Quite like the scenario of Brexit supporters refusing to accept we are still in the EU. Mind you if it makes them happy living in make believe land who are we to argue?

Head of Brexit in civil service quits - Matthew Coats also took over from Karen Wheeler's role as head of Border Delivery Group after she quit in June.

Current in house advert states that this is a tough and challenging role and ‘this mission should you choose to accept it will self destruct your career in 1 months time’

A short transition from "there will be unicorns" to "here be unicorns".

Why are you refusing to acknowlegde that they are not "MY PEOPLE" as you keep putting it?

If you're someone who wishes to leave with no deal, then we don't share the same views on brexit. If you're someone who wants to remain by overturning the result, we don't share the same views on brexit. You must have some ulterior motive for wanting to associate people together.

So Johnson admits he didn’t file a declaration of interest about his personal friendship with Arcuri at the time she was taking taxpayer money.
