The Conservative Party

Who inherited a national spend deficit at 11% of GDP per annum. Cameron sacrificed a lot for the conservatives for the good of the county in forming that coalition. Clegg is also a very decent man.

Or in other words Cameron inherited a national debt of £1 trillion and proceeded to double it https://fullfact.org/economy/labour-and-conservative-records-national-debt/

Adding on more to the national debt that every Labour government put together.

Cameron sacrafised nothing he and was desperate to be PM, the only way he could do that was form a coalition. Let's not forget one of Clegg's pledges not put up tuition fees and guess what ?? Clegg was and still is a **** who was just as desperate to power as Cameron and he was prepared to trash his party support by supporting a politically motivated austerity, which claimed the lives of 120k people, seen foodbanks swell to 1.5 million from 10k and seen the biggest rise in child poverty in living memory. So hat's off to Nick he played a blinder!!

Paying the price for the spending regime of the last government. University Tuition fees were put up to try and stop all and sundry going to university for meaningless degrees. Your nonsense about 120k deaths is simply nonsense.

Have you read it? Do you think there was a pot of cash at the end of the last labour government? If the GDP deficit was wrong at the stated 11% per annum.
What do you think It really was? seeing as you think it is bullshit?

Because I don't have to its fiction not fact, just like it was when he was PM him and his chancellor only ever used the measured that suited their political narrative.

What was the national deficit when the coalition took over - you state 11% of GDP per annum is bullshit? What was it then?

A simple question if 11% was bullshit - what was it? It was you that said it, not me?

Happy to agree with you if you find otherwise.

Unfettered - address the point rather than constantly being a dick.

Immigration wasn't unfetted, unfettered or unferreted, so you made no valid point to address.

But you're right, Cameron had to tackle the deficit and the national debt and crime and poverty and unemployment and under investment and the NHS and the lack of social mobility and the north south divide! Years of neglect by Labour, depression, recession, rectal probe and Alex Ferguson.......Fine fellows Cameron and Clegg! A success at everything they did, men of destiny, no to Marxism! Down with traitors, the EU, straight bananas and the X Factor!

I thank you.

Even the charity shops are turning them back.

I'm sure they'll make lovely compost, these did....

The national deficit? Holy mother of god!

You don't know the difference between the deficit and the national debt.

If you crawl off now with your head down it might go unnoticed.

Fees put up to pay for fat cats! FFS - I give up.

I will read the second link and revert while you look up GDP debt.

GDP is one way of national debt and only tells you one part of the story. For example what will happen to the country if we do a no deal brexit it would be blown out of the water almost over night.

The Student Loans Company is currently sat on a debt of £115bn and it increases by £15bn every single year.

I am looking forward to finding out where Labour will find these sums to make fees free.

Didn't Labour as part of its fiscal credibility rules commit to eliminating the deficit too?

Considering we are all going to be doing 32hr weeks I really must be missing something!

Are you for real? I know full well the differnce. We were runing at a defecit of 11 percent per annum when the tories came to power. I will spell this out. If you do that forever what happens to the national debt?

Immigration was through the roof under brown and Blair. Unprecedented levels which is why Brexit was voted for largely.

You simply cannot deny this as it is a point of fact.

The student loan is a joke because a lot of people will never pay the debt off in their working lifetime. But isn't it funny how back in the day when I

Isn't amazing how back in my day we didn't have to pay tuition fees. The country could afford education of its citizen because they say as an investment not something for the privileged few. Back then it was a Tory government some people got grants but most of us had to top up on loans. You could even leave like I did with a debt which providing you got a decent job like me you paid off the debt in full within a couple if years.

I just thank my lucky stars I was part of that generation that could afford to go to university get a descent job and buy a house without the help of the bank of mum and dad. Or to have to move back home or my girlfriend's home for years just so we could save a deposit. We rented and saved up back then in those days you could afford rent on a good flat and save deposit!!

Where did it all go wrong when did we end up like America where education became a commodity? Not an investment in the future economy for bright young people driving our economy forwards. When did rents get to high you didn't have enough to live never mind save up a deposit on a house.

Call the Labour plan what you want but at least it's progressive it's not short sighted backwards thinking. Because simple logic tells you that you can note improve our future outlooks by slashing budgets and down grading education system.
