You see, this is why you get called out for your bullshit.

I've just explained to you exactly what I was saying, IN DETAIL, and still your response is: "No, you didn't"

You're just wumming now. For the last time, my point about vetos is about the UK's relationship with Europe being an example of it not being as strong as some people think it is, because it shows we clearly want different things. We here, having the meaning of the UK and the decisions made by the UK Parliament, in regards to veto's.
At the risk of saying I told you so...………….

If I may be so bold - you are attempting to reason and persuade in a calm and factual manner - TBF it would work in many a situation, but....

There are a few who have said exactly that. Could be genuine, could be wumming but they have said it.
They’ve certainly said that the English would vote for it. From what I can gather most Remain voters appear to be in favour of the UK union so I would assume that it’s a bit of Brexiter view especially as it’s only been Brexiters suggesting it. Perhaps because the Scots are 62% Remainers?
I wonder if they want to get rid of Londoners and Mancunians as well to further their Little England in splendid isolation vision.
I’m not implying that all Brexiters have that view just a few of the more radical ones.

Because you don't know yourself what the "point" was. :)

I've told you mine; Canada is in the same boat as Norway in regards to accepting EU rules. It's an irrelevant point to raise as anyone who wishes to trade with the EU has two options; accept their rules in order to trade, OR become a fully paid up member, get ignored, veto the things you don't like... and STILL have to accept the EU's rules.

Ooh decisions, decisions...

P.S. Did you effectively just tell me to "Google it"? I expect someone reading that will be smiling at your hypocrisy.
;-)

Defamation 101. Twist a statement to mean something heinous and you can win the argument based on their portrayal of you being immoral.
The amount of deliberate twisting of the words of others to make them sound something that was not said has broken record levels today

It must be the need to cover for the lack of any substance and inability to debate the points made

DId I say that? No i'm pretty sure I mentioned that we do have a say. And along with everyone elses "says" it can sometimes slow down negotiations. Is that a boon or a hindrance? That's my contribution. My main issue is being "allowed" to do deals outside the bloc.

So can you tone down the "arrant nonsense" rhetoric? It doesn't exactly help to keep things civil. Ta.
As the day draws to a close - just want to say what an exemplar of calmness and patience you have been today - despite the unwarranted level of argumentative posts that you have needed to face down

Well done sir

It is exactly how it should work. They voted for a referendum, framed the question and promised to abide by the result. No ifs, buts, bindings, lies, democracy not stoppings, changing circumstances, no deals, etc etc etc.
In the words of the good Doctor - "In or Out?"

We voted Out.

52% voted Out. Over 3 years ago.

Important to be factual.

Serious question, for fans and opponents of Boris alike.

Do those eyes not make you think ‘Glenn Close, Fatal Attraction?’
It's a shit trick to pull a still from a televised interview to make someone look daft.
It's a similarly shit trick to try to infer someone has mental health issues using that image as reference.
I thought it was only Leavers who believed what we were fed.

'We voted out' is factually accurate and that is what is important about the referendum - if 52% had voted to remain the 48% who didn't would have accepted the result without complaint.
Pmsl.
This was Farage a few weeks before the referendum.
The question of a second referendum was raised by Mr Farage in an interview with the Mirror in which he said : "In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way. If the Remain campaign win two-thirds to one-third that ends it.

I must say that you too have been an exemplar today in two separate areas - condescension and obsequiousness.
Must be difficult to keep that level of condescending arrogance to those who disagree with you and utter sycophancy to those whose views you share. That’s not to mention your complete confidence in the correctness of your opinions however ludicrous and the deflection and squirming when you have regularly been proven completely wrong.
Well done. No one else comes close.

Get off your high horse. I made a specific comment about a specific image, not a general assessment of her mental health. That image makes her look unstable. Others may not. Feel free to post them or comment about them if that’s what floats your boat.

By the way, lots and lots of people in the public eye are regularly subjected to that same trick. Read almost any article about any labour or remain politician in the Daily Mail for illustration, but you appear not to be troubled by those.

I wonder why.

The utterances of Farage are not among the things that I notice - but I see they have been remembered and indeed his sentiments seem now to shared by the losers. He was wrong and you are wrong if you agree with him - it's really that straightforward.
