Tories and their DUP partners could have voted for it and we’d have left last April, whether Labour voted for it or not. After being excluded from any negotiating why are they responsible for bailing May out. Apparently Labour and May were close to a deal when she got dumped , if only she’d gone down that path to start with. Her fear of the ERG and DUP and opportunist Johnson stopped her.

They are perfectly entitled to hide behind the EU, that’s what the EU is for, to protect its members. We too could hide behind them if we hadn’t decided to leave.

Anyway, they haven’t played billy big bollocks, they’ve been the opposite of the leave voice in Britain, that did actually play billy big bollocks.

The Irish issue on the border has been criminally ignored since 2015 and the GFA is at a real risk now because of hard line Brexiteers.

Ireland, as the EU have, have specifically asked Johnson to come up with an alternative to the backstop, that doesn’t compromise the GFA, and he hasn’t managed it.

His offering is purposefully weak and he didn’t expect to get them to agree.
