So am I understanding the rumours correctly? Faced with a no deal brexit, the EU has not moved at all and Boris has offered NI as a concession, with a border down the Irish Sea?
Sorry - actually that is absolutely correct - and why quickly DexEU was removed from the negotiations. He was far from incompetent and to suggest so disguises his role in all this and his allegiances all along imo.
Committed remainer which isn't a crime btw, doing all he can to scupper the very thing he was tasked to do.
The country needed impartial and focused negotiators with the interests of the UK first and foremost.
If it comforts you to think that yes, why not.
Touchy, just asking if that’s the current understanding?
Fcuks sake - stop blaming Robbins. She was very badly 'supported' by that utter incompetent Robbins
I think that this is relevant:So basically, NI will leave the EU and stay in the UK but still apply all EU rules and regulations with a de facto EU border in the Irish sea. Well fucking done lads, that's what we asked for 3 fucking years ago. Bualadh bos.
I am posting in the reality of October 2019 - Johnson will get one chance to get this done and there is no benefit of working with the duplicitous other parties (I am not suggesting that he is anything but a proven liar)
Personally I think that if the EU are genuinely faced with a no-deal outcome the backstop will be fettered - it will be dressed up so it looks like they have not conceded but they will have.
That is his shot and what he is going for - the rest to be sorted out during transition
Happy as, not touchy as we are about to leave the EU finally.
It didn't happen because the UK didn't have it's act together as to how it wanted to leave the UK.I can only repeat the first line of that list, it didn't happen - all the rest is either a consequence or speculation. We need to stick to the facts.
Do you think he’ll get that deal through parliament? Would need be a big climb down from ERG and the DUP and a lot bridge building with the 21 Tory’s who had the whip removed.
No fucking chance - he has been personally responsible for seeking to cause major damage to the UK's interestsFcuks sake - stop blaming Robbins.
He was a civil servant following Mavis's instructions.
It didn't happen because the UK didn't have it's act together as to how it wanted to leave the UK.
That's not the EU's fault or responsibility.
And while we're on the subject why the fcuk should the EU be criticised for acting in it's own interests.
That's what the two sides do in a negotiation George.
You take the victim mentality to new heights.

Thats for parliament to decide but i think they are sat there thinking if we vote a deal down that is acceptable to the government, Ireland and the EU then they can expect the flak that will be directed towards them and with a GE imminent it might not be the wisest thing to do.
If it comforts you to think that yes, why not.
It’s a good point, but Boris has entrenched the sides with his actions in parliament. The arithmetic doesn’t look good for him.
"There is a “pathway to a possible Brexit deal”...

I don't think I'm the one playing the victim card, they are all in the stacked deck offered to our European friends and partners by the democratic British dealer. lolIt didn't happen because the UK didn't have it's act together as to how it wanted to leave the UK. I dont see any hypocrisy in his post.
I see committed remainers, not posters against no deal brexit, committed remainers who have said they want us to revoke sucking on lemons almost at the positive news that came out yesterday.
Each to their own I suppose but the fact is we do know some detail and that is those important and involved are now publicly stating they can see a path to a deal.
