Someone better tell him that we didnt compromise. We made the EU cake their pants by threatening a no deal. That guy said so, multiple times.

Yeah JRM giving them that if this is just jolly well not cricket and we are going to No Deal had them quaking in their boots didn't?

I think Rees-Mogg will be able to get the ERG on board and the DUP have shown they can be bought off in the past, although that quote from Nigel Dodds yesterday sounded pretty emphatic. Going to be very tight in terms of Parliamentary numbers even if Johnson does agree a deal with Brussels.

Let's be honest in the very limited time that has been spent the only thing that can be done is to tinker with May's deal because this has been agreed and accepted. Of course if Johnson succeeds in getting something he will present it as the emporers new clothes not the polished turd it actually is.

That is not a union. In the EU if a unanimous vote is required each nation has equal weight no matter the size of the nation. One nation votes it down the other 26 have to lump it. That’s a union.

I said two years ago for Brexit to work it requires the support of all four nations of our Union. Not half the nations or where one nations population far exceeds the other three. That’s not a union. That’s one nation with three colonies telling the colonies what to do.

It’s not sustainable.
I've been trying to explain this on here for the last few years. If one country can vote out all the others combined ...

All the opposition MPs now saying they won’t vote for the new deal, even the new deal has not been agreed with the eu.

What a surprise.

That's because they have never been about a no deal brexit. They are not even about brexit in some cases and everything to do with being anti Tory at any cost and see an opportunity for power.

I hope the electorate sees them using this issue and fucks them all off come the GE.

I don't disagree. For the most part. Disappointing.

This assumes that a majority of people want BoJo's brexit deal to pass - which is a big assumption.

Yes it is a big assumption as nobody knows what the deal is , as it has not been even agreed with the eu or published yet?

So how can people say well I am voting against it!

I think the honest answer is 1 it is a tory brexit deal and 2 it is BoJos deal. The vast majority of MPs will never vote for either nut both things together and of course they are going to reject it.
