Glad they have some principles left then.
that ship sailed long ago
Glad they have some principles left then.
Hmmm...........looking like the DUP are in the process of shooting Johnson's fox..............note to Treasury " more money needed for Ulster"
The Tories aren’t pushing for a ‘divergent’ Brexit to increase consumer protections or increase workers rights are they? Right now there is a floor they cannot go below and if you remove that floor then they will push for standards and protections to be reduced.
And yes we will let them at some point because the argument will be ‘to thrive outside the EU we need to create a competitive advantage so we just need to remove or lower a few things here and there I mean you want us as a country to thrive don’t you? With Labour it will be propping up failing industry after failing industry.
The EU is a construct within which we operate along with 27 other countries. Put us totally outside that construct and fuck knows what mad ideas either main party will come up with. Bad enough in the EU but outside with these clowns on either side in charge? Give me a break.
I want to work up a chimney guv....
Bob, save your project fear, it doesnt work on me you should know that by now ;-)
I asked a question. Curious to know the answer. I know what I want and the sort of society that I can support so what do you want?
A UK which has officially left the EU, then votes in a Labour Government to protect those workers rights. We want Brexit
When do we want it
31/10 in an orderly manner with workers and consumer rights protected
is that ok ?

Absolutely fine. But the Govt will not protect workers and consumer rights. They have already made this clear so not sure what your point is.

Natch, this would be Chippy's worst nightmare, but...
you asked what we want so I told you
Only if we have left the EU. Duuhh.Ah. So you are voting for Labour under Corbyn now. Good to know.
In general or on here?
put the deal to the public in a binding vote. What possible downside is there to that? What do you have against it?
Ah you were spelling out your fantasy wish list. Well that’s nice to hear. Meanwhile back in the real world...
no I am agreeing with you I want to leave and protect those things you identified
Back in the real world I have zero confidence that Boris will get any deal through Parliament so it’s completely academic has as the last 5 years
So one of the stumbling blocks is France are not happy with us leaving without restrictions upon us because they are worried we will became an attractive economic powerhouse on its doorstop and it does not want that!!!
What the fuck , I thought we were going to be fucked economically if we left, but actually the French are worried we will be too powerful economically ?
Where has that as a stumbling block been reported?

Sounds like the script for a Tory party election broadcast.you’ll be awoken by the sound of spitfires with trails of British colours filling the sky.
your next door neighbour will bring you some eggs and milk.
You will turn on your tv in black and white , showing the royals waving to a sea of cheering people.
You will be paid in shillings.
kids up chimneys everywhere and not a brown face in sight.
Everything will be glorious.
Rule Britannia!
Brexit means Brexit.
