In terms of votes, Labour will be crucial here I think. If Corbyn is sending out messages that they won't back it, then we could be back to square one. That's his and Labour's right of course but you have to wonder what their motivation is. If they think it's a shit deal, fine, but could Labour get a better one out of the EU if they won an election? That's what I'd be asking. Or is it just party politics and they can't be seen to vote for anything negotiated by a Tory PM? Obviously that one works both ways of course and if it was a Labour PM getting a deal, I'm sure a lot of Tories would be against it.
I just think Corbyn is playing a dangerous game here and in recommending that his MPs scupper the deal, he could be scuppering his own chances of becoming PM as well as inadvertently putting No Deal back on the table. Let's also remember that he's voted against the EU virtually all his political life so he's hardly a Remainer at heart.
A leaver who sees a chance at a power grab but he has ruined that chance by refusing a GE and now with a deal on the table they said was impossible they look pretty fucking stupid.
The electorate will see on Saturday what some of them are all about and i hope they fuck every single one of them out at the next GE.
