You've got ahead of yourself. We should only call this a deal when it gets agreed by the HoC and the EU. If we ever get there then you're probably right.

Hence my comment about his chips. He thinks this will fail - I agree with him. The question is what then and calling a GE at that point will work better for him. He's taken a chance on what happens over the next 2 weeks.
I'm on board with what you're saying mate. I think he has to call a general election post 31st October if we haven't left

We have a deal agreed between the government, Dublin and Brussels.

For 3 years the anti no deal lot have demanded just that.

If they now want to move the goal posts which they do and will then that is for them.

They can explain it at the next GE.

In fairness, they have always demanded a deal they can back. Including what they couldnt agree with theresa may.

Not hos it will be portrayed, but not really moving goalposts.

According to the independent

'MPs have won a key parliamentary vote paving the way for a bid to secure a second referendum on Saturday.'

No further clarity thst i can see

Still no wiser on my 'chlorinated chicken' question.
If NI is subject to EU regs ( which I understand it is) I assume that goods that don't comply with EU regs are not allowed into NI.
How can NI then be fully included in any future UK trade deal as such deals will undoubtedly include non EU compliant goods.?

I think it’s just the technical point that the the Commons can make amendments on Saturday - that could include a clause for a second referendum or anything else for that matter.

You have posted that twice now - the first line is meaningless. The second line is false - there is far more to it. If the DUP voyte this down on Saturday then brexiteers will be among those that have voted down all 4 attempts to pass one. The various camps all have their own take on it. Who votes it down for what reason is just trivia - it has to pass before we can call it a deal.

Varadkar bringing a tear to my brexity arse as he blows smoke up the EU's ring piece here.

Beautiful.

I'm a Remainer. Even though I think leaving the EU is a terrible idea I think we need to take this deal and exit. If not, it will cause the divisions already there to get even worse.
That doesn't solve the NI issue though and I completely understand why the DUP are saying they oppose it. Johnson has probably taken advice from Cummins and thought "fuck em."

Hopefully we will rejoin the EU at some point soon when we realise the terrible mistake we have made

Yes - i agree with that take. It will be an amendable vote. They will likely tag on further votes as an options as the full text is not yet available, an option to revoke could get a look in. Then if the full text gets brought back for a 5th brexit vote they could add the 2nd Ref to that.

My point stands no matter how many times you say it doesnt.

Parliament now shits or gets off the pot and if they get off, revoke and call a GE immediately because the country needs a new parliament capable of getting something done other than say what they dont want done.

Now you will think revoke ends it but it doesnt for me, it just postpones the inevitable as they open the political landscape to the likes of Farage.
