Jo Swinson

I really wish Jo wouldn't have said that about 'white men'.
As an ethnic minority, I hate it when race is dragged into it when there is no place. I also hate the sense of 'oh this isn't diverse enough because it's white men' - it creates a culture that BAME people are only there because of our skin colour.

I want the best 6 people discussing it, I don't care if they are white black blue or green.

It saddens me, I was giving serious considerations to voting for her party.

You should feel guilty like us mate, she’s also said “men” so she’s after you as well.

I apply the same logic to any politicians that have spent time, often their whole political careers wanting and voting for us to leave the EU only to suddenly change their minds.

I genuinely might not vote for the first time since I was 18. I’ve become fed up with all of them and there’s no one that truly represents my views.

Same here. For the first time I am either not going to vote or vote against a party rather than for one.

Tories - can’t stop lying and I won’t forgive them for misleading the Queen, too right wing economically and my right wing views are different to theirs, for example cutting the police and allowing crime to mount up isn’t my idea of conservatism.

Labour - I do like some economic policies and we need to slightly go back to the left economically but they’re too left socially for me

LibDems - too right economically, too left socially.

Green - climate change is a worthy main policy to address but I have a lot of concerns in other areas and I feel, whilst I like Lucas, it’d be like letting a bunch of hippies run a major economy

UKIP - far right, fuck off

I feel much the same but will show up and spoil my paper.

I’ll show up for sure, it’d be an insult to democracy and those that fought for it not to, what I do to that paper is another question.

I’ll have to see what the independent candidates (not the ChangeUK mob) have to offer.

I cant see how you can't pick something in the current climate. Yes they may all be cunts but you have a local MP. They have a voting record. Others will offer something very different. How can you not choose something. I personally think Labour are in an absolute state and Corbyn and utter twat but I wouldn't rule out voting for them as they are clearly less bad in comparison to the lying tories or the off shore farage vehicle. I will vote for whatever is the best option to stop those I strongly disagree with.

Because I don’t want any of them in power. So I’ll look at the independent option(s).

I’m thinking about every main party and I’m sat here thinking I don’t want any of them to run this country. I may change my mind, as I often do but there’s major faults with all of them.

My personal views are at odds in some way or form with The Tories, Labour, LibDems, Green etc etc.

The only other option I have is forming my own party, which isn’t obviously an option.

I cannot in effect put my name to something or someone I dont believe in. As I agree with your sentiments regarding Labour and Conservative, have no love for Swinson, and Farage blew it for me when suggesting he may get into bed with the Tories. Why vote for a person or indeed party whom you have no faith in or do not agree with what they stand for?

Regards the Tories, I think it would be a mistake to judge them on the back of 11 years of austerity. The Tories have always been strong on law and order for example, and it's only the need for pretty swathing public spending cuts which have caused the pains you describe. The lying to the Queen bit, I cannot argue with, but seriously is that any reason to vote in a way which might let Corbyn in??? I mean seriously, Corbyn???????

Corbyn would be no worse than the bumbling oaf. Two cheeks on a very shitty arse.

I expect you won't be on your own

I live in a Labour safe seat so I really wish we had PR in this country.. I will vote when asked but not for the local favourite
