Regards the Tories, I think it would be a mistake to judge them on the back of 11 years of austerity. The Tories have always been strong on law and order for example, and it's only the need for pretty swathing public spending cuts which have caused the pains you describe. The lying to the Queen bit, I cannot argue with, but seriously is that any reason to vote in a way which might let Corbyn in??? I mean seriously, Corbyn???????
I can only judge them on their results and no true Conservative would have let crime get so out of control by cutting the police, it’s unforgivable. I have conservative social views with a few exceptions, such as LGBT rights which are traditionally more in line with liberalism. They have also left a void when it comes to families and putting family life at the heart of society, another thing a true Conservative shouldn’t neglect and something that has led to a breakdown of society.
I’m not necessarily voting in Corbyn or voting a way to allow him in, Johnson will win a majority regardless of my vote.
