I just watched that hannibal chan with him interviewing The Mountie (i never knew him as a Rougous brother) and him knocking the dynamite kids teeth out. Sadly sounds like The Dynamite Kid suffered from roid rage 24/7. Mr Perfect worked that... perfectly, naughty fucker hehe.

He was good from what i saw on my silvervision video on the bulldogs but i think there were others on his level at least, for myself of course. The model Rick Martel was a fantastically technically skilled wrestler, he would work the moves like butter. The most under rated i feel is Bill Regal or as i knew him best "Lord Steven Regal" hehe. I loved hating him, you could see the comedy influences that shaped his facial expressions and stuff like that. all with being a legit tough fucker and top level wrestler. He had it all, sadly Vince wanted his steroid stuffed american heroes as champ.

I need to go back and watch the kid more i think tbh. He was largely gone/on his way out when i started watching.
 
Jaques Rougous smashed Dynamite in the mouth holding a role of quarters in his fist for maximum force, knocking out four of Kids front teeth. Blood was everywhere. And it didn’t even knock Dynamite off his feet!! That’s how tough he was!! He was a scientific wrestler, brawler, and high-flyer, all in one muscular package. Plus he was lightning quick and charismatic.

Rick Martel was a great talent but he lacked DKs aggression and intensity. And speed. Unfortunately, he wrecked his back, and was fucked from there on out.

Steve/William Regal is a brill worker and tough also. I saw him live in ‘92, at Blackpool Tower, vs Giant Haystacks.

I’ve been a wrestling fan since 1977, seen all the old school legends live, Big Daddy, Haystacks, Kendo Nagasaki, Rollerball Rocco, Johnny Saint... And Hogan, Warrior, Macho Man, Undertaker, Austin, Rock... Had a few dozen autographs.
 
Who’s looking forward to HIAC then? Hopefully the fiend destroys Seth
 
If the Fiend doesn't attain the Championship we riot. (or defect to AEW)

Didn't like the squash match on Kofi, but otherwise it was one of the best SD's of the year.
 
Didn’t enjoy smackdown, the lesner/Cain segment was good, prob the only match I’m looking forward to on the crown jewel card.
 
WWE managing to make Cain look rubbish and Seth extremely stupid. I don't really enjoy the Fiend, the unhinged Bray of the Funhouse is infinitely more intersting, The Fiend is just boring.

I'm far to young and posh to remember any of that. ITV? In our house? My coal miner Dad would have turned in his own plot with the massive marble headstone.

Cain is rubbish. A brawler with shit knees. Seth's match was the one he should have had last month but they bottled it. Cue universe going mental at them, a week of "don't mention it" and you are back in the room.

Interesting to see where you go with someone who can't be put down. Undertaker, as I said before, is due a retirement match.

Or you go down the Balor route of Bray (fact fans...seaside Irish town where Balor is from) having a Daemon/ fiend and only letting it out for special occasions.

Just think funhouse Bray is much more interesting, and the finish of the match was just farcical, and his mandible claw sucks.
 
Been watching AEW and it's very good. Well...I say good but what I really mean is interesting.

Some great indie stuff. Some really good tag teams including the Lucha Brothers who are mental. A few really shit women. Cody, Jericho, Omega, Moxley and Adam Page all really good as well.

Ratings are on a steady decline though. Maybe not enough room for 4 brands, if you include NXT.
