Clearly a cnut but deserves some credit for holding his hand up to his involvement and not being part of the whitewash.
20 years after the fact, and even then he seems to be glorying in at least part of their behaviour that day as well as trying to share the blame.

love the way he sees the robbing and looting as perfectly normal and acceptable behaviour. Has he no moral standards...? I think I know the answer to that.
 
Love this line by Mr Evans - The Inter City Firm drew guffaws and was seen not as a force to be admired and feared but as something from a Thatcherite Ealing Comedy. Now my memory may not be as good as it once was but if you ask anyone who was around in the 80's I think most would say the ICF was not a firm to be laughed at. I wonder how much of that article is, should we say, a little exaggerated or some sort of journalistic license was used.
