Dianne Abbott

The point is she didn’t use to. I used to enjoy on This Week alongside Portillo.

As for her ‘lowly’ role, is she or is she not the second most high profile Labour MP and is she or is she not one of the main people put forward for media work?

As an aside, if she was white and had made comments regarding race towards non white people then I’m sure she’d have not only received similar ire, but seen her career ended.

You mean you liked her when she wasn’t haranguing your sensitive lily white ass :)

I’m not the one arsed about it. You are. If you’ve got it then show it.

He is referring to this...

Source: BBC
Shadow Health Minister Diane Abbott has apologised for any offence caused by comments she made on Twitter, after claims they were racist.

She said she had not meant to generalise when she wrote: ''White people love playing 'divide & rule'".

The risk of her becoming Home Secretary needs to be placed front and centre by the Tories and the media in the coming weeks

Of course - equal attention should be given to the past remarks of McDonnell and the risks of him being Chancellor

Everyone knows about how useless and dangerous Corbyn would be - but the spotlight needs to be on these 2

As they say round these parts she's as numb as a piss stone

Hmm just remind me again what was it that you read at Cambridge University again?

Perhaps you were there at the same time or maybe you were with the Bullingdon boys at Oxford?

Diane Abbot or Priti Patel !

What an awful choice !

We really are fucked
Could be worse. We could still have a FS that went to Iran and through careful negotiation managed to get the prison sentence of an innocent UK citizen increased to 5 years. But it's ok, he's PM now. What could possibly go wrong.

It this not the Diane Abbott thread? (even if misspelt in the title)

If so would these not be examples of whataboutery?

Cool by me - I don't have a problem with it - but some get really wound up.

I have heard on here recently that:
Whataboutism is a terrible form of argument and it’s the lowest form.
and that
….it’s become a standard deflection on here from a few posters. …... It’s a bit sad that they can’t argue a point on its merits rather than just saying someone else does it so it’s no big deal.
