Let's suppose that Johnson gets a majority on the false premise that this would "get Brexit done". Previously some on here have argued that even though they lost in 2017 Labour MPs were still bound by the manifesto on which they lost. So (anticipating this manifesto) they could only support a deal that kept us in the customs union - say, a free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border.

To everybody who was adamant that football was somehow above Brexit here is the Brexit secretary putting out the Govt's view on controlling who clubs can recruit and buy. Would we have enjoyed the last glorious 10 years if this blinkered view have prevailed?

It’s no wonder he sounds so stupid as in reality if the first (and second and third) Brexit Secretary has down there job, no one would have heard of him

He is possibly, after Chris Grayling, the worst senior member of government who is regularly put before the camera

Posters like him who live in other countries really need to come clean about how or if Brexit will affect them.
It's easy to support a major change like Brexit whose outcome is unknown when you have nothing to lose if it goes wrong

It has become increasingly clear No Deal Leave or Revoke are the only two conclusions. All the middle ground fucking about with new negotiations and new deals and further referendums etc isn't going to wash with the electorate. I really do wonder is Johnson, faced with the info he will have about the damage a No Deal will do , prepared to go through with it.

It sounds like there is a deal possible, one with level playing field conditions. The sort that Labour would negotiate then put back to the people.

That ought to be easy to sell - even Mr Gove could say it fulfilled the referendum pledge that we would still be in a free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border.

But why do you wonder if Liar Johnson would not go ahead with a hugely damaging No Deal? He's said he would. Of course, Liar Johnson could be lying.

But how do you know what would wash with the electorate? How would we know? Surely not by people voting in a GE for what a liar says.
