City Football Group | Secure $650m loan facility for infrastructure projects (p 54)

Certain American Premier League owners and others including from G14 clubs have carried out a campaign to undermine City since we were taken over by ADUG. First it was mocking evolving into City bingo, relentless negative media, dirty tricks and politics.

Khaldoon has stated City are aware of who is involved? City also “took a pinch” but said we would not take another.

The investment by Silver Lake adds another dimension in that they are a significant USA company who will not take kindly to see their investment undermined. They are big enough to protect their interests and more likely to be litigious, especially with American rivals. Remember it was the FBI who took action against corruption in FIFA.

ADUG have avoided playground spats so as not to be seen as a bully. The recent stand against breach of FFP allegations marks a significant change. The new valuation of CFG and the wealth behind its investors should put paid to the credibility of any claims that it is not self-sufficient and reliant on Abu Dhabi as a vehicle for so called “sports-washing”.

Detractors are only just waking up to the fact this is about business and a revolution in sport, entertainment and technology.

Group accounts are freely availabale on Companies House.
For period ending June 2018, these show a Group-wide income of £589m. MCFC revenue at that time was £500m (85% of Group revenue) so if we ascribe 85% of the value of CFG to Man City, that values City way above Utd (MCFC £3.2 B, MUFC £2.95 B (Forbes)).

They are certainly waking up to the fact that football is not a special case that needs totally different business plans to other sectors of business.

As you say our part USA based ownership should make other American owned clubs very careful indeed what they say or do.

The total arrogance of that man and his shit stain of a club. It is easy to forget now they have fallen away a bit but they truly were despicable. They are still lurking under every slimy stone waiting to crawl out again if they start winning a few games.
Foot on the throats of anyone connected to that pile of shit at all times...never ever forget.
