On top of that Dembele had this year 5 muscular injuries plus ankle injury.
Rumor has it that after first injury (the one that he had right after joining Barca) surgeon messed up surgery.

I seem to remember some posting on here that his attitude was being called into question. And according to some snippets of info this has also continued at Dortmund.

Very good player, but does he come at a cost (baggage) ?

He got a late flight back from an international break and missed a team breakfast. If that's an attitude problem then we would never have signed Sterling.
 
Great player, but also a great big ego. Pep and Txiki would not give into his demands for a reason, one we are getting to see as his career becomes more high profile.

Late for training, late for a team briefing, late back from international duty, fell out with City, fell out with Dortmund, how old is he again?
 
He’s gonna be one of those problem players wherever he goes never fulfilling his true potential.

Like I said. Sterling was far worse. He was late to things, he was on camera huffing illegal substances, he was in court (and spent time in cells) twice for domestic violence charges, the reason he ended up at liverpool In the first place was because Spurs, Arsenal and chelsea all passed on him because it his behavioural issues.

Sancho misses breakfast and now hes so much trouble no one should sign him? Laughable.

The only reason we have heard this in the first place is that Favre and him have fallen out, Favre put him on the bench vs. Barcelona and Sancho embarrassed him by being the best player on the pitch when he came on, leading to Favre getting pilloried for not starting him and hes leaked an excuse to the german press to lighten the pressure.

I would treat these rumours with as much respect as the liverpool outrage over Sterling doing interviews without permission. Watzke, the dortmund DoF immediately came out and said there were no problems with Sancho.

If we lose Sane to Munich in January/next summer, we should use the money to try and get Sancho back imo.

Agree would he come back? How will he react to sitting out a few games? Will his attitude improve likes sterlings?

He was trouble when he was here last time. That disqualifies him. The club doesn’t screw around with disruptive personalities. It’s not always about what comes out in public. If you had some history behind the scenes in the game, I would have thought you would have sussed this already.

City simply don’t watch him walk away from this project and then turn around and pay £100M for him to come back! If you thought HE THOUGHT he deserved first team football when he left as a kid, one can only imagine what he would think if we had to pay up a King’s ransom to lure him back.

Nah. For one, we would have to double the Sané money, if he goes before his contract is up, and there are more pressing areas for the Sané proceeds.
