He also supported the police using shoot to kill, which is a new for him.

And nothing at all with us being in the middle of a general election campaign? Is there ANYONE on this forum naive enough to believe that. He's been opposed to shoot to kill for his entire political career. The Great Man of Principle that he is. He's a worm.

And incidentally, it is pretty obvious Marr is a Labour voter. Friendly relaxed chat with Chakribati, compared to him trying to tear strips of Johnson and talking over him when Johnson is trying to answer a question.
You wanna check out Johnson’s latest trick on Twitter. It’s fucking embarrassing and proof he hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing

I'm not a Johnson fan mate, so no need. I am a fan of Conservative policies and not the policies and politics of the fucking lunatic on the benches opposite him.

The Labour candidate has been active in the university there before and is well regarded with the younger new voters and students especially as a recent local poll has seen they have swung the area from 41% reamain to 51% , he has also had positives from those who feel betrayed by johnsons heathrow u-turn, add to that the local immigrant population has risen to 30% of the constituency and there is unease at johnson rhetoric.

Like I say a 5% swing would oust him, but I cannot see it happening.
I disagree with your analysis for a number of reasons, but that wasn’t the question I posed. Upon what are you basing your observation that Johnson was actively looking at moving seats?

I've not seen it, so he's actually said, 'Yes, I would authorise shoot to kill''?
It most certainly is new, if that's the case.

She asked if the police action to shoot him was correct and he said yes, she then said this was a change to his previous views amd he stated in the past he had issues with the policy in NI but the security of the public is paramount and so has to be an option to protect them.

But the BBC shouldn't be complicit in allowing him to get away with it.
There's the real tragedy.

We live in a free country.

Corbyn could also say no and probably should be advised to as he has everything to lose and literally nothing to gain from going on.

As I said its basic stuff and those running the Labour campaign are useless in these respects.

I am mostly guessing, but I doubt that my answer is far from the truth
Unsubstantiated suggestions of people that have an agenda to get the suggestion out there to try and make Johnson look bad (as if that was needed) by making it out he is 'cowardly'

Because the party itself had a think tank research seats in danger and johnsons was flagged up, they have openly said that it was suggested he change which he considered up to the cut off time but decided when pressed in an interview to stay in uxbridge.

Not that it matters but it was aplan they had

Everything is possible, but the lack of much of a Lib Dem vote to siphon votes off and a marxist Labour candidate make defections unlikely.
Correct, the sums simply don’t add up, plus, an incumbent PM hasn’t lost their seat before afaik. People like having the Prime Minister as their MP, even when he’s a lying ****.

All seems a bit nebulous to me, but as you say it’s now academic.

Doubtless I will get flack for saying this, but genuinely this is what I think:

Were we not i the middle of a GE campaign, Corbyn would be questioning the wrongful "execution" of the terrorist by British police and calling for a "full investigation" etc etc. A few shallow words of regret followed by monologues of criticism of the government, the police and anyone else he can think of.

It's in his DNA. He's only holding his tongue because a GE is on and his "slip" about letting prisoners out early is absolutely what he thinks. Not 3 weeks ago he was saying Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi should have been arrested. He said the death of Osama Bin Laden was "a tragedy".

I think he's an absolute wanker.
Gosh. What do you call someone who makes up what someone might have said then calls him a wanker for not saying it?

Personally, I’d rather in an election campaign that none of the party leaders have an opportunity to say no to our national broadcaster. As our elected members of parliament, they are answerable to all of us, not just the ones they choose to be.

I think it’s worrying when the electorate themselves also want to see our politicians act in that way rather than wanting them all to be held to similar scrutiny. It’s essentially wanting the electorate to be not fully informed and not trusting them to make a decision based on that. That isn’t to me what a healthy democracy is, it’s just a propaganda machine.
